We had a lovely stay here. All staff very nice. Comfortable room with lovely wee extra treats. Bit strange the kettle couldnt be plugged in where it sat and had to move to dressing table. Food was lovely especially the breakfast. Great value.

The hotel is one for my favourite places to stay the only thing was the toilet door was all damaged and ripped my toe nail Off.

Check in was really good, staf friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for our concert. We had booked a meal in our deal, and had chosen the 3 course set menu. This was sadly poor quality. Starter was limp and tasteless and the mains and dessert not much better. Breakfast thankfully was of a better quality.

From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we were well looked after. We stayed in a beautiful corner room overlooking The Clyde. A fabulous breakfast in the morning and everything was cleared from the table in a timely manner. Will certainly book again

Myself and my mum booked a fantastic deal at crowne plaza. We were going to see elton john at the hydro. On arrival at the hotel we parked in the car park at the rear of the horel, very short walk to the hotel, there was a bit of a que which actually did not take long at all to clear, check in was simple, staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was a lovely vibe from arrival with a live singer singing in the bar area. The room was basic but clean and exactly what was needed for a night away. We came down to the bar to use our free drink voucher, this could be used on basically all drinks available which was amazing, we then ordered a snack, the nachos which were a great sized portion to share and served quickly considering how busy the bar area was. We were then approached and asked if we wanted to pre book a table, drinks and food for after the concert! A very short stroll to the ovo hydro. On arrival back to the hotel we were directed to our pre booked table which was set up with our drinks and our pre ordered pizza arrived within minutes. Great service!! We really did feel special and the system was complimented by many other guest whom had also pre booked. We sat and had drinks which were normal prices to bar prices, staff very friendly and accomodating. After a lovely sleep, the breakfast was fab. Plenty to choose from, easy to coordinate around and again lovely friendly staff. Just dont do what I did and forget there is a pool, we didn't bring swim wear which was silly!! Next time, I won't forget!! A fab night, a fab show, I'll be back. ?

Absolute farce, booking specified that check in was from 3pm. Arrived with our 3 month old baby to be told our room wasn’t ready yet and that we had to wait at reception. Beer and sangria offered while we waited (which we don’t drink) but no way of making up a bottle for our daughter. Waited until 4pm and was told that room still not ready due to being so busy the previous evening - asked to pay extra to upgrade to another room just to finally get in but was told no. Sent away again and it was 4:45pm before we eventually got checked in and into our bed room. Almost two hours of our stay spent waiting about to get into our room. When we eventually got into the room we found someone else’s make up on the desk. Almost two hour wait for the room to not even be cleaned properly. Had our dinner that evening and paid for the additional extras there and then as told we weren’t able to charge anything to our room. On check out there was apparently a number of charges for food and drink that we didn’t have billed to our room and had to wait about for the girl at reception to sort it out before we were aloud to leave. Was also informed during check out that we should have received Prosecco as part of our package that we paid for - but didn’t receive that either.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow. The check-in was quick and courteous. The room was immaculate and staff were more than helpful. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Would definitely recommend.

Another lovely stay at the Crowne Plaza, good value for money given you get your overnight stay along with breakfast, 2 x complimentary drinks, car parking included, use of the leisure facilities and 20% off food. The room was adequate with a hairdryer, fridge and toiletries. My only criticism’s would be that the bar & dining area are pretty small for the size of the hotel, there was a large queue and wait to get seated for breakfast, dirty tables around and long waits for food items and juices to be replenished. Also anytime I’ve stayed on this deal MyHotelBreak.com customers always seem to be given rooms on the 1st floor. A room with a view would be nice just once.

Just back from an overnight at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow. Staff were friendly and informative as we hadn't stayed here before. We had king room 815 however this is next to the lift and therefore noisy, squeaky and not ideal if hotel is busy however, it wasn't and they still used the room! Being allocated another room in advance would have made this a 5 star review. Simon covering the bar was lovely. The breakfast is amazing and one of the better I have experienced and recommend. Mandy in the restaurant covering breakfast was very welcoming and helpful explaining the setup. Definitely will return but avoid the lift rooms.

Lovely room with pleasant overnight stay at Crown Plaza and great views. Only two small things the Air Con was a bit noisy and the jacuzzi was not working. Awaiting a part for it. I was looking forward to using it so a bit disappointed. Breakfast great selection.

A very comfortable stay thank you. The staff were great particularly the reception and bar staff. We ate in the restaurant on our last evening and although we enjoyed what we had, felt the menu was disappointing and lacked imagination. We saw 2 guests leave before they ordered. All in all a great stay.

Lovely hotel with friendly attentive staff who could not do enough for you. Nice leisure facilties. Plenty of parking. Only let down was that the hotel restaurant was fully booked. We emailed 48 hours before our stay to book to eat at 5 30pm before a show in Armadilo but were told restaurant was full. Appeared to be alot of non residents using it so make sure you book very early if you are wishing to use it. We did manage to grab something to eat in the bar before the show. Very handy for SECC, Hydro, Armidillo, Science Center which are all near by. Its about a 25 minute brisk walk in to the city center or its approx £8 in a taxi.

My partner emailed the hotel 2 days prior arrival and got a reply 1 day after her stay,waited over 2hrs for a meal and served at the wrong table also raised this with reception on leaving and was told we would be credited points to our account which never materialised,I've also contacted the hotel group to raise concerns regarding this and still waiting on a reply.we have stayed numerous times at this hotel without fault but feel very let down by the level of customer care
