stayed at this hotel many times and find it very good.We stay about 30 miles away and find it great to get away for a couple of nights.A good base if you wish to go into Dundee city or visit many of the costal towns in Angus.Food and service of a very high standard

Booked a 2 night B and B break with dinner included the first night. The dinner menu had a reasonable choice and was tasty and the dining room was a very nice environment to sit in and enjoy a meal, not too crowded. The bar was a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a post dinner drink and prices were very reasonable. The rooms were nicely decorated and in very good condition. We didn’t use the leisure facilities. The Woodlands is situated in a nice area of Broughty Ferry with plenty of free parking. My wife and I felt that the hotel offered very good value for money. The Woodlands delivered exactly what it promised.

Enjoyable stay - clean room, clean bathroom. Leisure facilities were good. Staff were super child friendly. Only minor negative was the cot provided- wasn’t in best condition. Food was fabulous. Really positive stay.

Enjoyable stay at Woodlands Hotel. Room and bathroom could do with an update but very clean and towels the next day. Used the facilities very good. Only slight criticism was the hand soap was fixed to the wall quite a distance from the sink.

Lovely hotel, we had room 128 which had a sea view. Good sized rooms, comfy bed lovely bathroom. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent, friendly staff,good facilities, would recommend to anyone and will return.

A lovely hotel staff were very nice and obliging and would like name melissa the waitress she was fantastic she was so helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and large, beds were also very comfortable and good provisions for tea and coffee making.

We had a lovely two night break at The Woodlands Hotel staying Friday and Saturday 24/25th March 2023/. The dinner was lovely, we had breaded king prawns to start and then the battered haddock which was so fresh and cooked beautifully' The room was not the most up to date we have stayed in but it was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were all lovely......polite and asking if you were enjoying your stay. None of the staff walked by you without smiling or saying hello which was very nice. Plenty of car parking so no worries there and a nice outside area where you could sit with a drink or coffee and while the time away. We are heading back in late August taking out Son and Daughter in Law with us. They plan to use the Swimming Pool and Spa, which did look very nice. All in all a great weekend break.

Couldn't have asked for me. From the minute we stepped through the front door we were made to feel so welcome, every member of staff we interacted with were absolutely super. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that every member of staff was so friendly. Our room was clean and well equipped, dinner was delicious and breakfast great too. Would definitely stay again
