Lovely hotel. Friendly staff ( most of them) Stayed for 2 nights. Buffet breakfast but eggs cooked fresh. 1st morning perfect poached eggs. 2nd morning lovely omelette. Not too far from centre and beach. Been before and will go again.

OUR GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY: The hotel was just fine but our booking was spoiled by five attempts to enquire about adding two guests for dinner. First we were told to contact Best Western then told it was NOT Best Western. In the end our two guests cancelled because of the uncertainty. Just three disabled bays frequently abused by Blue Badge . An after taste on a lager with lime met with shrugged shoulders at the payment point. One receptionist was unbelievably unwelcoming, without even a goodbye, let alone asking if we had a nice stay. To her it was just another booking. Big, big letdown on our anniversary day.

Lovely comfortable hotel and staff very friendly and chatty. Rooms warm and cosy. Only sad thing was the hotel is a wee bit out of Broughty ferry so needed car to go in and out if difficulty walking.

Had a lovely 2 night break at the woodlands.Very nice hotel.Clean,comfortable beds.The food was excellent.Can't praise the staff highly enough.Will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel bit tired in places but overall good.The staff were brilliant a special shout to Aileen in the restaurant who went above and beyond. Leisure facilities were good but never had to pay to use before sign of the times maybe.

Pleasant stay on a two night break with dinner on one night food was good and staff throughout or stay exceptional spa and pool also worth the extra charge but would be nice if included in price. Will return

Bizarre that the hotel don't talk to the local taxi firm and can't phone a taxi for you!

We had a lovely overnight after a day’s shopping in town. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. We had plenty choice at breakfast and all staff made us feel welcome. We will be back!

Very enjoyable few days with grandchildren Bit disappointed in our room as the grandchildren (2) slept in a pull down couch which was not good for them . Food very good - service - very good. All staff throughout the hotel very friendly, helpful from reception staff to the cleaners. Would come back for another short break . Staff in dining room

Good modern rooms with lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Quite a distance from the main town and evening meal was average at best

We've stayed at this hotel before. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. Plenty of choice. We stayed in room 109 on the ground floor which had a refurbished shower room which had been done to a very high standard. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay, room was nice and clean and tidy, walk in shower was ideal also. Leisure facilities weren’t great as jacuzzi was out of order for a full day of our stay and pool wasn’t the biggest either. Apart from that and the fact you have to keep the blue cardboard card our room key came in on you at all times our stay was good and would probably come back here again.
