Stayed here for 3 nights in May. Really enjoyed the hotel. Staff were friendly and very pleasant. Good food both dinners and breakfast. Good choice all round. Would recommend this hotel and definitely consider a return visit.

Had a lovely stay at Woodlands Hotel. Everything was spotless clean with secure covid measures in place. Great to have a swim and hot tub. Breakfast was lovely with good selection and staff couldn’t be more helpful and so nice to our wee granddaughter. Cannot wait to return. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Alison

Enjoyed a 2 night break at Woodlands Hotel. Covid prevention standards were excellent. Sanitisers and wipes spread throughout the hotel. Had a king room that was well equipped and had a lovely bathroom. We ate in the Hotel both nights and the food and service was great throughout our stay. The Receptionist was very helpful and informative. Woodlands Hotel is in a lovely residential area and quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this hotel and will return.

Clean well run hotel, we found all staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is very good and plentiful, remember to order your choice of eggs when the tea/ coffee is served as there is only scrambled eggs at the buffet. The room was a King room, quiet and suited us well. Hotel is a great base for touring and we will return

Great value for money in lovely grounds staff pleasant and very helpful. . Rooms comfortable and great walk in shower that was requested. Breakfast and dinner good and menu varied. Would have no hesitation in returning and recommending.

A very clean hotel who had plenty of things in place due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We felt really safe in and around the hotel. The food and staff were exceptional and we really enjoyed our stay.

Hi room and pool evening meal and breakfast first class. Only 2 points that I thing should be be looked at was tables reserved in the beer garden and no one at them and only after with another couple they eventually seen comen sense and gave us a table that ody had been sitting at for over 3hrs and could put a couple of outside heaters in the beer garden area other wise perfect

Highly recommend a stay here. Our room was brilliant (The Wyldes) as very spacious, arm chairs doubled as sofa beds if needed, table, chairs and a beautiful bathroom. The staff were all really friendly and efficient and covid safety precautions followed really well by all, including public areas, bar, restaurant and leisure centre.

I would like to thank all the staff for their hard work and excellent detail to making our stay comfortable and safe. At no time did I feel uncomfortable or concerned regarding health and safety relating to covid19 on the premises. You have Implemented procedures and precautions throughout the hotel that you should be proud of as they made me relaxed throughout my stay. The hotel was clean, the food was really good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.My only fault was the bedroom furniture was a little dated and pillows a little too soft for me, otherwise a very pleasant stay,I will return again without doubt.

We were a party of 4 who stayed for 2 nights at Woodlands Hotel and what a wonderful time we had. Thank you to the Staff, who go out of their way to help and were all very friendly. The food was of excellent quality and plenty of it. We were there while the "Eat out to Help out" scheme was on and the hotel gave us an allowance, even though we had the "my hotel break.com" voucher to use. What a great "Deal" that was, as we had quite a large bar bill !! The rooms were great, with very comfortable beds and the most powerful shower we have ever come across in our travels. We left our car at the hotel and took the short walk to catch a 73 Bus into Broughty Ferry and Dundee, for a spot of sightseeing and shopping. The only thing we could not use was the lovely pool, due to the Government Covid 19 Guidelines, but we will certainly visit the Woodlands Hotel again, when the pool is allowed to open.

We loved this hotel! The room was bright and very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were so helpful and made us feel at ease and given current COVID procedures, we had no concerns at all. The food was excellent, breakfast was first class! We will definitely be back.
