Very enjoyable two nights spent at this hotel. Room spacious, clean and decorated to a high standard. Breakfasts, good and dinner lovely.All staff very pleasant, highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely relaxing break. Clean rooms and good disabled access. Pool and changing area nice and clean too. There seemed to be a slight staff shortage but staff on duty were efficient and friendly. Great Covid measures in place to make customers feel safe. Food at dinner was excellent. Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice but could have been a bit hotter. We would be happy to rebook.

After booking the dinner B&B deal For 2 nights decided to book another and stay 4 nights. So glad we did. Bedroom a great size with all amenities. Good choice for breakfast and decent evening meal. Nice outside space to eat and drink and plenty parking. Around 10-15 mins walk to beach but well worth it. Would stay again.

Really nice hotel in a lovely location. Check in and out very easy and quick. Room had all necessary amenities and a large comfortable bed, good pillows and bed linen. Food in restaurant good and pleasantly served despite covid restrictions. Breakfast buffet had good choice and well cooked food however I would say the queuing system for the buffet is not well controlled and seemed a bit crowded with people ignoring distancing rules.

We had a lovely 2 night break at Woodlands hotel. Beautiful big spacious room complete with a four poster bed. Lovely surroundings and food was great. The hotel was busy but the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Woodlands hotel, to make the most of the break we arrived early and parked at the hotel. Walked along the beach into the “ Ferry”. Did the shops and had lunch, walked back and booked in. Super big room on first floor. All the staff, reception, waiters and cleaners were very friendly. Next day was a walk to Monifieth and back again along the beach. Food in restaurant was very good and piping hot. All in all a good break, this one is on the list for a return.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel recently and had a brilliant time. The hotel was spotless and Covid regulations adhered to. The staff were lovely and special mention to Ewan, chef and Craig, waiter who were most helpful as my husband has food allergies. We will certainly return soon!

Lovely location, very clean spacious twin room and bathroom. Friendly staff, great food and generous portions. Pleasant dining room and bar area. Great leisure facilities also. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will return in future. Near to park and beach too!

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. The hotel is in general very Covid safe however distressing to see so many guests not wearing masks when entering dining room and walking around corridors. When we mentioned this the member of staff said they were not allowed to remind guests. This would make me think twice about returning as long as Covid is still with us.

We enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry, Dundee on the 2 night dbb deal. Check-in was quick as we had completed a pre check-in online before arrival. The hotel had plenty of hand sanitiser stations situated throughout the hotel. We were allocated a standard room (no upgrades available as hotel was busy when we arrived). The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a bath with shower (excellent shower and plenty of ). The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The windows in the bedroom did open which was good for some fresh air. Plenty of car parking spaces at the hotel. We ate in the hotel on the first night of our stay. Best menu selection I have ever had in a hotel, especially as part of the dbb deal. You will be spoilt for choice. The food was good and service in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style. Could have been slightly better organised for people going in and out to get their food but apart from that the staff coped exceptionally well under the cirstances. You must book a time-slot for breakfast as the sittings are 45 minutes long. We also used the swimming pool and facilities (jacuzzi, steam room, sauna) which were all excellent. Due to restrictions in place with how many can use the pool at any one time, please book to use the pool etc before you arrive. The area of Broughty Ferry is lovely, with a walk from the hotel to the beach taking approx 15 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially on this dbb deal which was excellent. Please pass on our thanks to the hotel and all staff on duty while we were there (21-23 May '21).

This is a hidden gem in Broughty Ferry. We had a fab couple of days here. Food was excellent, staff were lovely and they couldn't have done any more for us. They did an amazing job with everything in place to keep people safe during these times. Thank you
