Fabulous hotel all was perfect really enjoyed our stay in the fairfeild house we loved our big twin room with a sea view spotlessly clean lovely bathroom as well thank you to Christine the manager who sorted out our upgrade all the staff are so helpful and friendly in the hotel and the restaurant so over all exceptional customer service we were given food was fantastic great choice for dinner and breakfast would definitely go and highly recommend to stay here

We had a lovely stay food was lovely and so where the staff, only thing i would say i didnt like was the window in our room was covered up with a mirror, but apart from that i would stay again.

Many thanks for a lovely stay. A very comfortable and stylish hotel. Good rooms, clean with comfortable beds. Restaurant and bar were good with excellent service and a good range of drinks and tails. The dinner menu was varied and well cooked in a pleasant conservatory dinning room. My only criticism, which I expressed to there waitress was that the poached eggs with salmon would have been far better on soda/wholemeal bread rather than on the sliced brown which is better for toast. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

This was my second stay at this hotel. I stayed with my friends first time and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to bring my hubby. My second visit did not disappoint. I particularly enjoy the fact that the spa area is part of the stay. The rooms are spotless, the staff are so friendly and nothing is a problem.....the food is exceptional! The local area is good for walks, we done a bit f shopping in the town centre..plenty of pubs en route. Would definitely recommend...we were lucky to get the current deal which is on which was a bonus.

The staff were all very nice. Very friendly and helpful. The Churchill Suite was amazing. Only down side was the loud noise coming from the boiler. It was loud. even during night. They did offer to move us but we loved the room. If your a light sleeper ask for a room away from the loud boiler. the hall carpet and hall walls could do with a coat of paint. Apart from that absolutely loved it. Will be back.

Just returned from a fantastic overnight stay with family .We had two rooms one being a suite which my Sister was allocated we were fortunate enough to be upgraded..Stunning was big enough to have a party in ..Our room was also superb. We choose to have dinner in the hotel we all had different meals of which were delicious .Great wine selection also . Would not hesitate in recommending this Hotel . Staff were friendly and very professional. Big thanks to the team and particularly the reception staff you are a credit to your Hotel.And we will definitely return .

Enjoyable stay , the best thing about the hotel stay was the meal , every course delicious The waiting staff were so accommodating and courteous. Unfortunately no crisps or nuts stocked in bar before our meal in afternoon, we were just looking for a snack . The pool and jacuzzi were good, but a bit too busy late afternoon and very small sauna . Albeit we managed to go later when it was quieter and more relaxing atmosphere. Reception accommodated with us pushing back our dinner time to bit later which was appreciated. On arrival at check in we were stood waiting until receptionist eventually lifted head to acknowledge us standing , with very little eye contact . On checking out much more friendly and asked if we had enjoyed our stay . I think the hotel is well worth a visit and I would return . Value for money . The room itself is a bit dull and uninviting , but the shower and bathroom were better standard .

Stayed at this hotel in December 2021 and had a lovely room, great food etc so booked again March 2023. Checked in and paid but didn't realise I'd been overcharged, headed to room only to discover it hadn't been cleaned. Went back to reception and got a different room, all OK with this one although needed some redecoration. Bathroom clean with good shower and comfy bed. Evening meal was lovely as was breakfast. Spa area needs some upgrading but pleasant enough. Girl at reception sorted out a refund for the difference in price we'd been charged. I'm not sure if I'd return though as it seems to have gone downhill since being taken over.

Nice stay at Fairfield, food very nice. Bit disappointed with or room as it wasn’t in the actual hotel, room could have done with a good dusting and roof was all water marks!

The Fairfield House Hotel is an absolute gem of a place. The staff are truly the best .A warm welcome at reception , met with a smile in the restaurant/bar and treated to a spotlessly clean room made our stay memorable and one which will be repeated in the near future. The quality of the food at breakfast and dinner was top class.

We stayed in the Carnegie and it was beautiful my fiancée and I spent hrs in the jacuzzi bath sipping champagne The staff are lovely nothing is a bother. I even got a birthday card from them. Food is put of this world i had a sirloin it was cooked to perfection. Pretty expensive but a definite must for a special occasion We will definitely be back 5 ?

Just back from a stay at the fairfield house hotel. Can recommend highly everything about our stay was perfect. Room looked like just been refurbed loved the double shower.The food was amazing (we had the valentines set menu) breakfast both mornings good only slight niggles were having to make our own toast. And can you please cut the hedge on the ground floor other than that perfect we have already recommended to all our friends and family.
