Hotel a bit tired but the friendliness o the staff and the cleanliness of the whole place more than makes up for it. Spectacular views over Loch Long from the dining room and the bar. Food in the restaurant is fabulous and is good value for money. Had a lovely couple of nights stay but on our next visit we will book a room with a view over the loch.

Spent my 75th birthday in the hotel and enjoyed my time there. No question it is a bit tired in the room but very clean and the public areas were very nice. The two breakfasts I had were excellent and of the two dinners one was very nice and the other not so good but not bad.

Myself and my partner came to the arrochar hotel for my partners birthday wee realy enjoyed the wknd here only down fall was the signal on the tv but other than that food was great and staff were friendly definitely come back again x

Had a lovely couple of days here, whilst the hotel could be upgraded in some areas, but understandable given the last few years, it was clean, the food was great, the staff lovely and enjoyed the singer. Everyone couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful and as it was our anniversary we were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco. We had a walking package and enjoyed the packed lunch. Very enjoyable stay.

We have just had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel which is situated close to the loch. The room we had was adequate for our needs and was neat and tidy with a comfy bed. We dined in the restaurant on then first night but you can eat in the bar also there was a good choice on the menu and the prices weren't that expensive (considering where we were).Breakfast was buffet style with a member of the kitchen staff serving the hot stuff what was nice was that your tea/coffee was brought to your table with your toast no going too seek your tea then having to stand and wait for your toast to come out the toaster. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay with some thoughtful touches thrown in

We enjoyed our stay, all the staff are friendly & helpful they are a credit to the hotel. The food was okay . Only fault of our stay was the mattress it was rock hard it was like lying on plank of wood.

This is a favourite hotel if m ne to escape to. I would say it's basic and the decorating is quite tired. The absolutely brilliant staff more than make up for the decor, I do love the Scottishness of it, especially the background music of the bagpipes at breakfast, not too loud either. It is a dog friendly hotel, I'm not so keen on dogs in doors especially if they bark as you pass. They aren't allowed in the restaurant. It would not stop me from returning. Excellent staff excellent service

The views from the room and restaurant were stunning. The hotel felt lovely and cosy. Our dinner & breakfast were fabulous and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was spotless. (If a little bit creaky) Overall fantastic value for money!

Our room was ok a bit dated and there was a musty smell. There was a loose wire on the kettle!!! Our view was awful ? the staff were polite and friendly no one serving at the bar though. The food was overpriced and the choice was poor.
