All staff were very helpful and friendly and the dining room staff, even when very busy, were efficient, attentive and charming! We understand that refurbishment is continuing, but overall our stay in this lovely location was extremely enjoyable. We look forward to returning.

We were moved to The Loch Long hotel as this one was overbooked, had our evening meal and entertainment at the Arrochar Hotel. Meal was lovely.. Bad experience at bar as was served out of date J20, not pleasant, then they ran out of Diet e. Think describing entertainment as a tribute night was a bit over egging it, the singer was very good but definitely not a tribute night.

Hotel needs refurbished. Room basic, no view, overlooking bins. Staff didnt seem interested. Food was nice. However, wouldnt recommend hotel, and wouldnt return. Dissappointing.

i want to thank you for our lovely stay i had posted that we wernt happy with our last stay in nov and had asked for a loch view and a bed that was up to standard as one before was awful we were delighted with the room we got and also a lovely comfortable bed thank you so much if this was due to your input to hotel we will be back again service and meals we cannot fault

Stayed here on Friday 24th February had a nice time. View is fantastic and food was great as were the portions. Room was pretty basic and small but clean. Elderly woman on reception wasn't very friendly and rather abrupt when o asked for help and according to several guests we spoke to she was cheeky to them also. I also think when booking the hotel that it would be made clear that dogs are allowed, I don't mind at all but my partner really doesn't do dogs and they were in the lounge and throughout the the hotel. Would go back again for the food and the scenery and hopefully one the walking routes as the weather was not in our favour and were stuck in the hotel. The wifi they offer is terrible and signal not great due to location.

We had a pleasant stay food and service was good rooms clean only complaint was the duvet on the beds was worn and ripped and should be replaced although the linen was clean, the radiator could not be turned down and this made the room too warm. We would be happy to go again.

This was our second visit to the Arrochar, and once again, really enjoyable - lovely room, good food and excellent staff. Entertainment was an unexpected pleasure, with a young group of Scottish Highland dancers after dinner. Will be returning soon. We discovered that myhotelbreak.com does not inform the hotel, of special requests made at the time of booking e.g. dinner booking, dietary requirements. The hotel managed to accommodated all requests in spite of this. Much appreciated.

Only complaint was did not get key to room till 3:45. This was the third time we have used this hotel this year and will use again. Staff, service and food very good. Would recommend to others.

Have stayed here on many occasions so was not expecting too much - a basic hotel with brilliant views. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrading and improvements that have been made to the hotel. Our rooms had all been refurbished with new windows and lovely clean, modern bathrooms. All of the staff were friendly and helpful - a credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much bother. Good choice of food and large portions, beautifully served. And the weather was perfect so we were able to appreciate the amazing views.

The Hotel did not have a booking for us - luckily there were some rooms left! We were allocated a fantastic, loch view room. Very comfortable, lovely bathroom but the hot water for the shower was only tepid (I know this is probably for health and safety reasons). Dinner menu was quite limited but the food was nice. Breakfast was okay.

Check in was hindered by the fact that my booking through myhotelbreak.com was not in the hotels system, but staff dealt with it without a fuss. All in the staff were very friendly and efficient. We were given Room 6, which compared to the others was very shabby and had a side loch view...not a loch view. Bath and shower was disgusting...tiles and grout dirty, shower head was filthy, seal on shower screen black with mould. Think because our booking was missing, we were given a 3rd class room! Food was lovely, good value and big portions. Entertainment in the evening was a good bonus. Great location and would return bt ensure you call ahead and check your booking is there and DO NOT stay in room 6, the others in that corridor are bigger and nicer.

Lovely spacious refurbished room, facing the loch. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent at dinner and breakfast. An ideal hotel for a relaxing break at a very reasonable price.
