the hotel lacked staff. this resulted in not being able to get a drink when required and at breakfast time we stood at the required point for almost 10mins before we took our own seats. this also happened with many other guests.

Casino Royale night was good- the food was very good for mass catering; although the female singer was quite entertaining, there was too much waffling about with daft scripts and questions. The floor was quite small for dancing- perhaps the middle table could be moved towards the bar area, which was rather empty. We like to dance ballroom and require the room! AND we're always first on the floor which encourages others.The bedroom was fine, although the corridors were quite confusing!Parking was at a premium as the hotel was rather busy.Breakfast was good- but waitress didn't point out that the fruit, etc was round a corner (I had to find out for myself).Asked for poached egg and got 2!

Beds really comfortable & bar/ dining area nice & modern. Food nice, hotel staff nice. Could do with more signs for toilets & pool area as got a bit lost as did others. Well worth a stay

My wife and I had a great weekend break with good enterteinment end and food, only gripe was that we felt that the the food portions were small.

Dreadful place,dark,dingy room with funny smell.food was awful.my partner is a coeliac and they gave him poached eggs ( rock hard) on ordinary toast even though they'd already brought gluten free toast ,also said they'd give him a gluten free turkey dinner with special gravy but then he found stuffing hidden under his meat.

Hi our stay ay The Angus Hotel was very good, the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are good and are very clean we will be going to the hotel again in the future.

very pleasant staff food was adequate but plain hotel is in need of upgrading thoroughly TV in room was ancient and tiny bed not very comfortable duvet too hot and no scope to choose spa pool was clean and tidy and nicely decorated but more signage is required to direct you to it

Stayed for two nights DB&B and enjoyed the experience. The staff were wonderful, and a credit to the organisation. The bathroom needs a facelift, but was clean and tidy. The food was wholesome and adequate. I would stay in The Angus Hotel again if I was in the Blairgowrie area.

Only negatives of a finicky door lock (all rooms should be the card entry type) and leisure pool ceiling in need of some new tiles were far overshadowed by the excellent service & attention given by all staff and the good food.

Had a lovely weekend at this hotel. Great location, fabulous staff and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Hotel could do with a little renovation but on the whole I would have no problems recommending this to others.

The patio area is totally different from what is described on your website, I only wish I had taken a photo to show how different it looked. Not a flower in sight, a few black tables, to be honest it looked as though it doesn't get used anymore not an inviting place to sit. The visit to the pool was a bit of an eye opener ! Passing through a couple of sets of doors it was clear to see the area between the dining room and pool is used as a storage area with laundry and other stock lying about. As this is the only entry to the pool I feel it was a let down. Other than that my stay was enjoyable and certainly value for money with the DBB deal. I would come back but I don't think I would use the leisure facilities unless they had been improved.

What a loveley Hotel from the booking in to leaving the hotel everything was superb. Hotel easy to find and its also in town we were in room 1 so handy the service was second to none, the staff were very friendly and the food was terrific they were very accomodating as I have a few allergys, will certainly tell my friends all about the hotel and hope to see you in the near future.

Very disappointed with our 2 night stay at Angus Hotel. Poor service at dinner on first night, raw sausages served at breakfast,very poor quality for superior room upgrade, slow shower, poor reception on tv, noise from outside, no double glazing, drink served in dirty glasses. No apology given for poor quality and service. This was our 3rd stay here, we will not be returning. Will have to think about using Classic Britain again as this is the second hotel we have found to be inadequate.

Cramped double room, small bathroom and constant drone from extractor fans outside. Creaky floors. Hot course at breakfast slow both days & diluting juice tasteless. Raspberry Cranachan very disappointing(especially in an area famous for them)with about half an inch of raspberry puree at the bottom of the glass then topped with cream. My wife had the vegetarian main course and it consisted of a crumbed crust over a a thin sauce. Another couple we spoke to immediately complained about the food without any prompting from us. Ran out of Caledonian beer during Tribute show. On a positive note, the Meatloaf show was very good and function suite is modern.
