Well what can I say. We booked a 2 night deal with dinner on the first night nd afternoon tea. Room was cosy and clean, very comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely, sauna and jacuzzi a wee bonus. The food was outstanding on the Friday night folled by live music im the bar. Excellent service a special shout out to Gareth, who just has it, perfect host and so good with all the customers, he made everyone feel welcome and special including us. The area was beautiful and we enjoyed some lovely walks. We weren't part of the weekends music night deal and it was very busy but Gareth remembered our names and squeezed us in, he was so accommodating to everyone's needs and inclusive. That extra mile was never to much for Gareth. All the staff were lovely and helpful.

Relaxing break at this wonderful hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and always willing to make your stay special. Food in the restaurant and bar area is great with plenty of choices. Rooms are bright with comfy beds. We will definitely be back.

Generally really enjoyed our stay here-a gift for our silver wedding anniversary. Room was comfortable and spa was great. Staff were for the most part very friendly and helpful. First nights dinner was lovely and service very good. Overall experience marred somewhat by dinner on the second night which ended up like something from Fawlty Towers. 40 mins after ordering we had to ask if our starters were on the way.... They then appeared 10 mins later. Apparently a fault in the system sending orders to the kitchen. Main course wasn't too long in coming but was cold. When I asked if it could be heated the man... Whom I took to be a supervisor or manager... Put his fingers round the side of my plate as if to check. He did take it away and brought it back in double quick time. Other guests also noted and commented to me. It still wasn't hot but he didn't stick around to find out and vanished soon after leaving the young waiting staff to cope with other issues in the dining room. Steaks overcooked... People waiting too long for food. The table beside us were offered free bottle of wine... Free dessert... We were offered nothing. The restaurant was much quieter than the previous night and difficult to understand why they weren't coping. We would stay here again. Handy location and overall very good but they could benefit from tightening up supervision and management of the dining room. Hopefully something which can be resolved.

Room was clean and tidy, view not great. Afternoon tea was nice and well presented. Our evening meal was served quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately we seemed to be in the minority, others waited almost 1 hr for starters, then main served cold. Dining room staff showed no interest, great shame. Breakfast, all hot and good choice.

This 3day break at angus hotel was really good! I can't find fault with anything Rooms were great and clean Food was fantastic Spa facilities were great and relaxing Bar area was good and all staff very helpful and friendly Great walks in area and parking was no problem at hotel

Stayed on a 3-night break DBB for first 2 days and B&B 3rd night, hotel good (stayed quite a few times on business, so knew what to expect ? Myhotelbreak.com states the dinner as 2x course which is correct but it's a £22.50 per person and it limits the courses somewhat, but food is good. Bathroom in need of refurbishment..although adequate for a few nights, staff friendly and accommodating. Car parking limited at front of hotel but there is a bigger car park at rear so no real issues there..remember to register your car at reception or risk a ticket.

Nice hotel, self checkin bit of a farce esp when receptionists are on…the bar man was nice but rest of the staff need a bit more customer service training…only ask/speak when they need too…rooms clean & adequate and a couple bars & restaurants within walking distance…

Our third visit through my hotel breaks and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely hotel in the centre of Blairgowrie. We had dinner first night then breakfast each morning. All meals were lovely. Our brought our small dog and although it’s £25 a night extra he was well catered for with blanket, towel and treats in room. Will definitely return.

Stayed for our wedding anniversary, really impressed with our room nice size as when i booked it said it was a cosy double, good storage, comfy bed and pillows think they were duck or goose feather. Really good shower and space to put toiletries. We had a room looking out the front of the hotel had nice views even though was a main road didn't disrupt any sleep and good blackout curtains. Really impressed with breakfast choice and quality plenty to choose from cereals pastries ham cheeses yogurts fruit etc and hot items sausage, bacon, fried eggs or scambled, haggis, tomatoes mushrooms beans. Enjoyed the time in the pool, easy to book slot online and enjoyed the jacuzzi and steam room. Would recommend booking spa when you book hotel as spa was fully booked weeks before we came. Enjoyed dinner good choices good portion size and were tasty and as we stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast deal only thing would say was on 2nd night we waited abit on food coming out and staff coming to check on things but think staff where abit busy think there was a bus tour which is understandable still really enjoyed our dining experiance ambience was good. Staff were really friendly and helpful with any queries we had especially about the spa and pool. Will definitely be recommending the hotel, was really good value for money with the dbb deal and will defo be back!

Comfortable stay but hard to judge everything as the hotel was short staffed due to floods on roads leading in to the town from Scone and Coupar Angus. ( We very nearly turned back ourselves as we were coming in via Scone )

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Angus..... we obviously like it Breakfast is great, the evening restaurant is great food is outstanding staff are exceptional and attentive Entertainment this week was outstanding and there is a great Karaoke pub across the road. Our room was small , however it was good enough with a great view of the river in spate. The only fault we found was that the pool was ...... bloody freezing and a required training in course management was required to get in and out of the hot tub, However that aside we love this place. Lovely 3 day stay -Room good but no easy chairs - Bed Great-Bathroom spacious and well equipped-TV Remote was poor. Breakfasts and Dinners well cook and staff served us very well. The spa was brilliant-Hot Showers -spin dryer for swim suits-Sauna ,Steam Room and Jacuzzi all clean and well cared for and lovely clean pool. A surprise in an old town Hotel that has been renovated to a good standard. Staff were all really nice and friendly. I do think Hotel should think about having Non Alcohol Spirits in the Bar,Easy Chairs in Rooms and a small table where space permits also information about the surrounding area provided in rooms and also the foyer has absolutely no information on up and coming events or places to visit .These extra touches to mostly elderly visitors would be appreciated.

We had a lovely stay here as the staff were very friendly the rooms were clean and the leisure facilities were good, however, if dinner is included in your stay, please make sure that you keep a note of what you had to eat or even ask your server to give you an itemised receipt at the time you have your meal. Apart from one meal (which went over by £2.90) we had made sure that we did not go over the £22.50 per person allocated for dinner. At check out we were informed there was a charge of £12.70 for a £5.25 overspend on the first night and a £7.45 overspend on the second night. While I would have continued to refuse to pay it my brother decided just to pay so we could be on our way. When I got home I emailed the hotel and asked for an itemised invoice for our stay which I received within minutes, however, it did not itemise the food items so I asked them to itemise the food we had so that I could see where we overspent according to their calculations. I am still waiting for a reply. I then sent them an itemisation of the food we had and the prices according to their menu and asked them to justify the charge or refund the disputed amount. I am still waiting on a reply. I would not stay at this hotel again for this reason

when we arrived we got to our room which was tired and in need off a refurbish but we spent the night in the room which had a well uncomfortable bed, so the second day I spoke to Gareth one of the managers and he sorted out for us to move to a better room and looked after us very well and made our stay so much better, he's an asset to the hotel and a top bloke, all the staff were very nice and the food was excellent as was the pool and spa.

Lovely stay here again :: our seventh visit, pool and hot tub , sauna, etc all excellent !! Hotel clean and room acceptable ( a little dated ) . Food both breakfast and dinner always first class !! Staff v.nice.. Blairgowrie itself a lovely wee town.. recommended all good !!
