Return visit to this hotel, however very disappointed, late getting access to room by 50 minutes. Bank holiday, very busy. I have been to better 3 star hotels

Fantastic DBB overnight stay for family birthday celebration. Booked two superior and two standard double rooms. Both room types clean and spacious, very comfy beds and great bathrooms. Evening meal in Flemings restaurant excellent. Good service and food. All staff friendly and professional. Nice tails and bar staff happy to prepare one not on the menu. Very enjoyable stay and would definitely visit again.

Nice hotel, nice spacious room, good leisure facilities. Meal in the Flemings restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was nice but plates were cold and food wasn’t very warm. Overall a nice experience and would go back.

This was my second stay within a month. I booked a second time as the fist time I thought the stay was excellent. The second stay was not as good. When we arrived for breakfast we were given a table around several tables that has not been cleared (they still has not been cleared when we left some 30 minutes later), we requested tea and coffee which was given without any milk, we requested milk and by the time it arrived the tea was cold. Upon going up to get our breakfast from the buffet we found that we had to stand for over 10 minutes as most of the items where not there. When ordering our dinner my husband starter came out and then we had to ask for mine as it had been forgotten about I know these might sound like small things but all these things make a difference and I would expect more from a 4 star hotel. On going for a swim there were no towels available and we had to wait for them although the staff did bring them to us. On a positive note I found the house keeping staff to be very polite and never passed you without speaking.

Brilliant break at the Westerwood, did not get upgrade with room, but room was fine.. Dinner was excellent, as was staff.. breakfast was really good specially geting delivered to room.. Stayed the next night as well as no bookings with yourselves, and paid £133 for B/B where as £99 D/B/B with myhotelbreak which didnt make much sense at all.. so defo be booking myhotelbreak again.. many thanks

Hotel and spa was very nice. Food was rotten. We were all served raw chicken and when we complained we we're not offered an alternative option. Very poor customer service from restaurant

We loved the hotel, spa and room. Food was gorgeous. The only complaint I have was when going to bed I noticed dried in what looked like blood/makeup marks on the bedding and also a tear in the cover. Sent a message to Hotel. Still waiting on reply.

Had a great stay at the hotel, food was delicious, grill room staff were amazing in the evening. They couldn’t have been any more helpful. They made our stay especially with our puddings. Breakfast was another delight with a lot of variety. Swimming pool was a lovely temperature. Both myself and my daughter will definitely be returning.

Had a great, relaxing time at this hotel. Spa and pool facilities were fab. Dinner was lovely and staff were especially helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel. And look forward to returning.

Really disappointed with our stay! Came for 1 night on the 2nd March, admittedly, a difficult weekend with weather/snow, but we weren’t contacted, although both email and phone number were provided, to be told both restaurant and spa were closed and had we been, we would have rearranged our stay for another time. Little touches ie, “prosecco on arrival” are things that add to your stay, however this wasn’t in our room, although we checked in over an hour after check-in time and had to wait a further 45 minutes to be brought up to us. Also a dirty wash cloth/rag left and bath hadn’t been cleaned. Staff were very flat, no atmosphere whatsoever. Overall, nothing was of a high standard and as I said, we would have rearranged our stay if we had been contacted and made aware of the situation. Emailed hotel directly with our compliant, to which someone replied and offered a like-for-like offer and told they were unable to contact us as didn’t have details which funnily enough were on our invoice. This was 2 days ago and still waiting on a reply to my email.

My friend and I had a lovely relaxing trip at the Westerwood. Our twin room had very comfortable double beds and was spotlessly clean. We stayed on DB&B offer and the meal was lovely in the Grill room. We used the swimming and leisure facil. For an absolutely stunning hotel this was the only draw back. The swimming area is in dire need of a clean/revamp however we didn't let this ruin our stay. Would definitely go back and I have recommended to others.

We were advised to call in advance to make a dinner reservation - I called to reserve Flemings Restaurant and my booking was taken. Upon arrival for dinner, Flemings was closed with the only dining option being their informal club/golf restaurant which had the ambience of a brightly lit Wetherspoons full of kids - not the romantic experience we had hoped for. The hotel needs to inform guests if the main restaurant is closed.
