Great stay, hotel is lovely, rooms are very clean, staff were always polite and very helpfull, meals were great. I. can honestly say we had a lovely relaxing stay, the only negative was the faulty fire alarm, our evening meal was an hour late because of it, but staff could not appoligise enough. Would definatle recomend this hotel to everyone.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This was an overnight stay with my sister and both our young daughters. The only thing I would highlight is the communication between Classic Britain and the Hotel - when the bill came at the end of dinner on the first night, we were charged separately for the children though our booking with Classic Britain clearly stated that we were all on a DB&B rate. The waitress took note and went to go and speak to her manager and after 35 minutes came back with the adjusted bill saying that the manager had never been made aware of this deal. As a professional within the industry I would not have informed the customer of this as this showed a lack of professionalism by the manager - that was for him / her to sort out with Classic Britain. The wait with 2 young children meant they ended up grumpy and to be honest it spoilt the end of the evening for us which we had thoroughly enjoyed up until that point. Service charge was added onto the bill which we hadn't noticed in any of the literature. We paid the extras that evening so as we could leave sharply the next morning. When I went to hand the keys in the service charge had been added to our bill again....the gentleman behind reception didn't question it when I said we had already paid it and removed it but again, another thing to make you sign over what should have been a straight forward transaction.

This is a fantastic hotel with great facilities. We had a standard room, but If I hadn't known better, I'd have thought that we had been given an upgrade - super bedroom. We had dinner at night and it was very good, but the breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of foods.

i love the westerwood and will be going back only a ouple snags needing looked at when busy with large groups we had to wait twenty minutes for a drink and they forgot we ordered them so only after asking again did we get them service dropped when they were dealing with groups and we felt a bit neglected

enjoyed our stay. quick and friendly reception for checking in and out. Staff througout all very helpful and friendly, rooms grand and Spa lovely. only minor drawback No mini-bar or water in rooms, no air conditioning which would have been nice in this clamy weather.But otherwise really good value booking site and hotel.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the Westerwood Hotel. Our room looked on to the golf course and was really lovely with a great bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. We even got a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Nice chilled out stay, have been to the Westerwood a good few times in the past with my husband, this time my daughter and I went as she hasn't been. We had a twin room which was quite spacious, but have to say that the furniture was quite dated although in good condition. bathroom huge-again a bit dated too but spotless. All staff very friendly and professional at all times. A bit disappointed that we had to dine in the Bar/Grill on both of our evenings as Flemings Restaurant is only open at the weekends. Food was lovely, however the wine on offer was, I felt quite expensive.

A really enjoyable stay. Staff were great, so helpful. No complaints with our meals, the food was both filling & very tasty. Our superior room was clean, tidy & the sort of standard you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Hope to return again sometime.

Great hotel. A good walk from the room to reception. Room was hot but I could not keep the window open a little bit to let air in. However these are minor the room was very good.

Our toilet had not been cleaned when we arrived in our room. It wasn't cleaned until 6pm. This service was poor. However the service in the restaurant was excellent.

room and service was up to usual good standard, however the food was not. was disappointed in our evening meal. it was not as good as we have had in the past. The breakfast was lukewarm. this review is for the westerwood hotel

During our stay we dined in both their restaurant we found the food very bland and on both occasions I did not eat either my main course or sweet.We complained and nothing was done,We complained to the manager at reception who felt we had been let down.He said he will be forwarding our complaints to the appropriate persons and has offered us a complementary upgrade on our next visit.There wasnt enough options for those of us who did not want a cooked breakfast
