I had the nicest night at the Westerwood. I had booked this for a treat for a 60th birthday present and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Can't wait to go back.

The food and accommodation at Westerwood Hotel is fantastic . Our only fault is the floor tiles in the swimming pool area are very slippery and great care is needed.

We had a lovely stay in the Westerwood. Staff were very helpful, rooms and food lovely. We had a fair walk to our room which might not be suitable for anyone with a mobility problem but was not a problem for us. Again depending on where your room is, it can be quite a walk up to the Grill where we had our dinners. Not a complaint just an observation

Few problems encountered at the beginning of the stay but these were quickly rectified by the duty manager Rafal Chezch.All staff very friendly and helpful, especially Danielle from the restaurant and spa.

Rooms very comfortable kids didn't touch there food as the chicken was so dry Wife's beef came very rare and when she complained they offered her a steak with mash but it came with chips

I have stayed at the westerwood quite a few times with friends and have always enjoyed it.On this occasion i went with my husband who hadn't been before and we had a lovely time, really relaxing and just what we were looking for.We dined in the grill room but i found the menu quite limited so i strugled a bit to find something to eat,i did eventually find something but i feel the menu could have a bit more variety but thats just my personal opinion.I always find the staff to be courtious and very helpful and nothing is too much trouble,they are a credit to the hotel.The room we had this time was quite spacious, nice and cleanre and really comfortable.I will be going back quite soon with my friends for a girls spa and overnight stay and can't wait it's a home form home.

Not a great stay unfortunately. The hotel staff did not seem to understand the package we had booked. I had to explain that we only had one dinner on one night of our two night stay. (I did not want to be charged extra at the end of our stay.)Also had to request the wine included in the deal 3 times before it arrived. Food was very poor and we actually sent side order and deserts back. Room was clean and comfortable but dirty glasses left in room and no milk relaced after room had been services. Information in room on food was missing from the information folder. Staff however were lovely but the overall experience was not one I would repeat

Very comfortable. Service during dinner was extremely slow. Nouvelle cuisine leaves you feeling a little cheated everything beautifully presented. The staff were all very helpful.

A great hotel but often let down by the food. Not necessarily the quality but often not warm enough. My wifes sheppards pie was the best I have tasted ( she gave me a taste) but it was not warm enough. My fillet steak was not good; both were replaced but it took 25 minutes for us both to have our dishes back! Staff were as always, wonderful. For my wife and I it is a 'home from home' and the staff know that!

Booked this trip at last minute so much so that hotel did not have us on their system! After a couple of phone calls we were checked in and enjoying our late deal with room upgrade dbb and late checkout. Have used this deal several times .Room didn't dissapoint.New menu on offer in grill room was lovely Haggis spring rolls a must! !!! Service wasquick and staff attentive previous dinners have seen varying levels of service. Best yet. ! Pool was just what was required after a hectic week! Will be back!

Very disappointed. Fire alarm constantly activating, which caused the gas supply to stop and therefore the food was cold. Service in bar very slow. Tried 14 times to phone Spa and reception from room, received no reply. Very poor indeed.
