Lovely hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Only comment I would make is that (call it old fashioned) but I would have liked table covers for our evening meal in Flemings Restaurant.

Reception and leisure staff were outstanding but table service extremely slow. The neck, back and shoulder massage was best I have ever had. Felt the swimming pool was a bit too hot as was the steam room. However, even in view of this I would definately go back and recommend

I had a very nice time when I stayed, the staff went out their way to help with information about the area,helping us with the trains. also very accommodating with times etc. Fantastic.

Great value hotel with excellent food, particularly dinner in Flemings restaurant. However, bar prices rather expensive. Wonderful location with great views over golf course and hills. Exceptional staff - helpful and courteous.

Hotel was lovely. Dinner in the grill bar was very slow and very noisy. Our wine ordered after the starter was delivered during dessert. Dinner on the second night was in the restaurant and was excellent. Breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms a little shabby in need of some TLC. Tried to charge extra for our sons meals when we had paid a DBB rate which included him. Do not feel this hotel warrents 4 stars have stayed in better 3 star hotels. Food was good.

Nice hotel, lovely food, very long corridors, state if you have mobility issues. Good Lesuire facilities.

We had a lovely stay at the westerwood hotel. We stayed in one of the specious upgraded rooms. The hotel staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We ate in the grill room, the food was outstanding. Would definitely return to this hotel again, and will most definitely use classic Britain again.

As a regular visitor to this hotel I was very disappointed in my visit this week. Our room wasn't ready till 4.30 (although we'd booked 2 rooms so we could use 1) Not in the new wing as I'd asked as they said they were no twin rooms in the new wing. Surely that should be addressed. Dinner was booked for 7.45. We were told our table wasn't ready and should wait in the bar. 15 minutes later we still hadn't been served at the bar! They said they were trying to serve dinner guests drinks. At 8.15 we asked if we could go to our table and we were given menus. After 20 minutes we had to catch a waitress to take our order. In total it took 21/2 hours to serve us dinner. Food was amazing service dreadful. Next morning at the pool we were told there were no towels left and could we fetch the dirty ones from our rooms! At checkout the bill was wrong but was sorted as soon as we said. The hotel was very busy but there were not enough staff on to deal with this. It was a shame for them but no managers to be seen. If this had been my first visit I would never return. We went for my sons birthday and were very disappointed. We were in room 114 and 131.

The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort exceeded our expectations both in the friendliness of all Staff and the quality of service. The food was exceptional...both at dinner and breakfast. The spa facilities were first class as was the leisure facilities. We did not play golf on this occasion but are already planning a return visit which will include golf and are looking forward to repeating the great experience.

My husband and I have just returned from the Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort. We can't praise the staff and the hotel highly enough. The hotel was lovely, the staff were so nice and helpful, the food and service was fantastic. We had a problem with the water supply in our first room (this was outwith the control of the hotel, but within an hour of reporting it, we were moved to another room. We were also delighted to be presented with a bottle of bubbly, as the hotel was aware we were celebrating our anniversary - that was a lovely touch. Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and impeccable service.

Had a wonderful nights stay at the Westerwood. Huge family suite! Staff friendly, lovely large heated pool, dinner and breakfast excellent. Brilliant DBB deal with Classic Britain. Would recommend.

hi there , our stay was just ok , there service at dinner was very very slow which when your there with 2 kids this isn't ideal . I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any of my friends with kids .
