Hotel was nice enough. Went on a last minute db&b offer. Good value for money. Got an upgrade to a superior room which was clean and tidy, only thing I would say is there's no toilet brush in the bathroom and the windows in bedroom were stiff to open. Food was nice, plenty to choose from at breakfast time. Dinner was nice although baked Alaska was bit on the tiny portion size. Staff were very pleasant and chatty. There were 2 lots of young football groups there during our stay and the boys were very well behaved and well mannered compared to some groups that have been in hotels we've been in previous. Overall a good friendly hotel but wouldn't stay any longer than an overnight.

Excellent. There was a big wait and a little confusion on the 2nd but I understand you were hosting a football club and sea bass was a bit over overcooked but apart from that everything was excellent

We have stayed at the Westerwood many times but this past visit will be our last sadly. The hotel is looking very tired especially the rooms. We had a family room booked but on arrival there were 4 single beds, I did mention to the reception staff that I would have preferred a double bed for my husband and I to which they said they would organise but never did. Food was ok but nothing special.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the room, dinner, leisure facilities and breakfast were all excellent. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. A pleasant surprise with a real 'feel good factor' at a very good rate - we'll certainly be back!

I enjoyed my stay however was unimpressed with the food. The orders were wrong and the food was not worth the prices charged.

Food was delightful at dinner however as the upstairs bar was over crowded we went down to other bar only to be told we couldn't get bar food as it stopped at 5pm - not great customer experience!! Rooms were nice size and quality! Unable to get into the pool was as it was over crowded with lots of kids and general public - not happy about that really! Never been on a classic Britain break away and not had use of pool for being that busy!

We had a lovely stay. Family room shower was slack so had to hold up to shower. Rooms were very clean and hotel was clean. Breakfast was excellent allot of choice and very tasty.

Waited 10 minutes at check in however when served the service was pleasant. Good sporting facilities. Restaurant staff were very attentive. Down point was at breakfast where the cheese and ham platter took 30 minutes and three requests to arrive at the table.

We had a lovely 2 nights kids loved swimming and tennis. We didn't realise exercise classes were included free of charge to people staying at hotel. Possibly a little more information at desk would be good on arrival. Family room was nice and clean there was a few marks and scrapes on walls and furnishings here and there. Meals were great really tasty breakfast nice as well plenty of choice, very good value for db&b rate. Drinks quite expensive. Overall very enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The offer included a room upgrade but there wasn't any available so the gentleman from the desk double upgraded us which was really nice. The staff were great. The room was spotless and kept clean by the cleaners. I only have a small issue when it comes to our food. On our first dinner, our drinks didn't come until after the first course. Our stay at the Westerwood was ok. The deal we had was very good value for money but we would have grudged paying full price as the bedroom we were allocated was in need of some T.L.C. The panel at the front of the bath was very grubby & the bath itself was chipped & cracked in a few places. The shower screen was also grubby & needing replaced although the shower itself was very good (excellent water pressure). We hated the pillows supplied (no support whatsoever) and when we asked reception for firmer ones they said that's the only pillows they supply. Had to go to the nearest Supermarket to purchase decent pillows. Our meals were tasty so no complaints there! The breakfast buffet was also very good. My wife had a spa treatment, which she enjoyed. I had a game of golf but the course was extremely wet and not very well maintained.

Was disappointed in Westerwood Hotel. Stayed there 4 years ago and I think hotel has deteriorated since then. Went on package with free upgrade to superior room - that was a joke. Had nicer room 4 years ago. Cushions and bed runner should be thrown out - all bobbly and tatty. Also disappointed in the spa - it was a Sunday so that's maybe why but it was very busy and didn't seem all that clean. As was Sunday night, main restaurant was closed so we ate in the other one. Food was ok but not what I was expecting. Same for breakfast, nice enough but expected better. Staff very good though, couldn't fault service at any time.

We were kept at the receptions for over 10 minutes on arrival. The receptionist said Classic Britain shouldn't have allowed me to book two twin rooms as they didn't have two.The hotel tried to get through to CB but failed then allowed us to check in. We ended up with a twin and a double! Wasn't really suitable but we made do as we had traveled to get there and were looking forward to a swim and sauna!
