Not 4 star standard Had evening meal in the Grill Restaurant , food was mediocre with poor menu choice . The restaurant was quiet but service was slow Room some distance from reception/restaurants which needs to be considered if someone with walking difficulty/elderly Had booked a twin room and was surprised to be given one with two double beds ....however couldn't sleep in one bed as pillows and quilts very worn Was only staying one night had considered when booking two nights - glad I didnt

Room quite nice apart from a groaning/creaking bed that made you not want to turn in your sleep for fear of wakening yourself up Not the hotel's fault but seagulls outside our room wakened us at 4 am and 6 am Food in restaurant a bit arty farty - could only pick one item for each course and when it came it was very well presented but I could have went to McDonalds after eating it as I was still gry Restaurant a bit dated and staff forgot our drinks order and had to be reminded

We had a lovely 2 week midweek stay at Westerwood, couldnt fault anything, lovely staff,hotel and leisure facil, good for exploring kelpies and falkirk wheel, dinner bb deal was good value and food was very nice.

Just back from the Westerwood stayed Two nights on a dinner and bed breakfast break .Had a problem with room allocated as it had a shower over bath which was no good to me ,my husband went to see about this ,the issue was dealt with very quickly and we got a ground floor room with facil to suit.Were very happy with room,meals were taken in the grill which were very enjoyable.l also got 25percent of spa treatments.

We had a great meal & breakfast. Room was good. Staff were very helpful and polite. The only thing I could complain about was the noise made by other guests which seemed to go on all night. Fighting, screaming and crying. I know that sometimes you expect some noise from a large busy hotel but when it goes on for hours it starts to get annoying. I believe the police were callled but by then I had already lost 4 hours sleep.

Room was good and clean.All staff and reception staff friendly.Facil great.Breakfast both mornings great.Good choices.Did have a bad experience of food first evening.I had Beer battered haddock which in my opionion was not fresh and was a cheap frozen product and tastless and wasnot cheap .second night had sirlion steak which was lovely. I did speak to staff member about fish and they said they would let cheff know of my disappointment.Same choice of menu in both restaurants both nights. Over all had agood break. I have reserved proir to this visit 2 other bookings for end of June and one in July which i am tbinking of canceling due to my meal disappointment

Really nice dinner, bed and breakfast for excellent value. Food was nice, lovely big breakfast. Room was large and modern, nicely decorated and an awesome shower. Spa facil were nice and relaxing. Would return.

Hello, I booked through your website and when we arrived at the hotel they had no idea of our booking and that is very embarrassing, when there is a que forming behind you and my wife is glaring at me . i know its the Easter weekend and not a lot of staff working .....the girl I spoke to earlier was fantastic and very helpful . Plus the hotel restaurant was fully booked on the Saay we arrived and closed on the Sunday our second night. Would I use your website again probably as it is the Easter weekend and its all about the Holidays ..

Very noisy at our dinner time 8pm with children being very loud running about the restaurant. Wishing we had went to Flemings instead of the Grill! Our rooms were quite basic and furthest away down the end of the long corridor bit of a walk for our 70 plus mum and aunt. The whole Spa experience was delightful though and made the trip worthwhile.

This was our 2nd visit to this fantastic hotel. However when checking in I was told I had to pay the bill immediately as it was a visa debit card I have . Which also meant I couldn't just charge anything I purchased during our visit. I obviously paid the hill there and then . I do however feel that a visa debit card is surely a better card to use as the money is mist definitely in the person's account unlike a visa credit card. I personally changed from a visa credit card to a debit one several years ago as I don't like any debt . I used this debit card when at the hotel the first time which was in October 2015. The staff are amazing the food is delicious the leisure and spa facil are wonderful and the rooms are spotless. We were on a dinner bed and breakfast deal . So we obviously have to pay for any drinks we had or any difference in the food allowance and what we are. We only had a bill for drinks which I paid for there and then . We had a really relaxing stay . However while checking out the following morning I was told I had a drinks bill to pay ! I told the receptionist that as they didn't accept my card and I couldn't then charge anything I had paid the bill by cash before we left the restaurant. I felt it was a case of my word against the bar staff . The receptionist then said it was ok she would let the bar staff know. Which left a bitter taste in my mouth to be honest. I use your company to book holidays all the time and have been to several hotels and never ever came across this before. We still had a fabulous time and have even booked again to go back in July. But at least this time we will know what to expect . I truly felt that my bank card wasn't as good as anyone who has a visa credit card and it did make me feel second class.

Our 2nd visit to the Westerwood hotel in 1 year excellent value for money , staff throughout the hotel are fantastic , my only niggles were cold breakfast plates for hot food, towels were not available when you checked in for the spa due to lack of them had to chap the pool window to see if any were available at reception took ages to get them, I am a dog friendly person but to find dog hair stuck around your room chair is not good, bath panel need painting as do around the room windows which are flaking, routine maintanence required , still had a fabby time tho!!

Had a great stay once again at the Westerwood Hotel.Have stayed here loads of times and always enjoy it. All the staff are really nice and care that you have a good time but would like to say a special thanks to Danielle who works in the grill restaurant .Danielle always seems really happy to see us and looks after us brilliantly. Overall a great place to stay for a relaxing break.

Had a nice break at the Westerwood Hotel. Lovely big room, huge comfy bed, large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Although shower cubicle looking a bit tired. Bit disappointed we did't get upper floor as requested, but I suppose we don't always get what we want. Food was nice enough but choice just the usual pub grub. There was nothing special which you would expect of 4 star quality. Leisure facil good. Unfortunately they had no towels left. We were told to go ahead and they would bring us towels when they received fresh one from laundry. The towels never arrived, no staff at poolside, so we had to come out the changing room (all wet), luckily I spotted someone heading to the leisure reception desk and ask him to remind the staff for us. They did arrive soon after and were full of apologies, but not exactlya relaxing experience going down the corridor soaking wet. We enjoyed a swim sauna and steam room. couldn't get near the Jacuzzi as three big burly men using it the whole time. They sat on the edge when it went off waiting for it to go back on again.
