We had 2 rooms and both were not up to standard you would expect one was had stains on the carpet and mould in the shower the other actually had spider webs on ceiling and again moguls in bathroom .

Couldn’t praise the hotel highly enough. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation was to a high standard as was the food.

Dinner service was very poor, 2hours for dinner for 2 people with 40mins between starter and mains. Steak was cold.

Had a great night away for daughter's 16th birthday room was good staff very friendly food and service was amazing only thing that got to me was the staff at leisure area although friendly they didn't actually take us in and show us around even though we said we had never been before , totally recommend we've even booked another night away ?

Lovely hotel. Very relaxing stay. Lovely leisure facil, just a pity the times children are allowed in the leisure facility So restrictive, only one hour after check out and only 3 hours after check in.

It was a very snowy day when we arrived. We were glad to get into the hotel. We had a lovely friendly welcome from Hannah at reception. Our room felt like it was miles away, the lift was out of Order. When we reached it, it was very nice but a bit dull. Only had one small window but was very well appointed. It even had a fridge.. bonus! Toilet was lovely with Bath & shower cubical. Our 1st dinner experiance wasn’t to good. Food was lovely but the service was very poor from the Maitre D. We waited 40 mins for our soup. With no apology given. We had another long wait for the dessert menu. Again no apology. Our 2nd dinner experiance was 100% better. Food very good both nights. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choices. The pool / leisure facil were good but not if you just wanted a good swim. All in all a nice break but we wouldn’t rush back. The area the hotel sits on was pretty boaring. Not much to look at & because of the weather we were stuck inside.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was great, food was great. Pool was great, although if they say they have no towels and will bring them in 5 minutes, don't expect them any time soon. We were at pool for two hours and eventually persuaded the staff to give us two face cloths to dry ourselves after our shower.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel and we will definitely return the room was lovely food was excellent but most o the staff in the hotel were so helpful and friendly nothing was a bother. We also used the hotel spa facil which also were very good. Looking forward to our next visit

Friendliness and very helpful staff, room & food were 1st class, time service of the food was bad, 1hour 45mins from the time we sat down till we left the restaurant, only had two courses, had to chase up the waiter for our dessert an hour & a half in. Gave the service a 5/10, cooking staff and waiting time let this score down.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, allowed us to check in early. We were booked in a standard room which was adequate, bed was one of the hardest and very uncomfortable beds I have ever lay on it had lumpy bits sticking through, I never managed to get any sleep whatsoever. Our evening meal was very slow to be served and was only look warm, my wife had chicken and strugeled to cut it as it was like rubber and had been way over cooked. We went for breakfast around 9.0 am which was a buffet breakfast which had a good choice. When we had the cooked part found it was only bareley warm and all dried up I think it must have been made a few hours beforehand very very disapointing. When we checked out the receptionist never even asked if we enjoyed our stay, just said you account is all up todate We booked this stay at the hotel as we were planing to book a christmas package but after this it is definately not a contender

There were a few wee hiccups on our visit, but resolved so fast that they were insignificant. Special thanks to Louise to gave us a lovely bottle of wine as an act of kindness. There was numerous staff on hand to address any queries and service was first class. Beautiful hotel that has clearly thought of everything. We will definitely be back x

It was a wonderful stay. Room really clean and spacious! Bed was really comfortable. Best night sleep in ages!!! Food in restaurant really good too. Only thing was they had no creme de mure for my tail!!! ???

On confirmation stated Twin room, however when gotten to room it was a double, did query few hours later but we're just told was down as a double. Also leisure area, children's pool & jacuzzi closed so pool was busier but then 1/3rd was closed off to allow private swimming lessons so didn't use pool as not much space to swim. Was off putting with spectators from lessons.
