Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine

We had a great stay at the hotel. Rooms were immaculately clean although our bathroom was a little dated. The hotel reception area, bar and restaurant was very modern perhaps it’s time to look at the rooms. Our stay was excellent value for money, the staff were fabulous and were very accommodating. The restaurant food was delicious with a great choice, even on our first night which was included in our special deal. The buffet breakfast was basic but again plenty of choice, we asked for poached eggs which weren’t in the service tray but it was no problem to get them made to order. All in all a lovely visit and we will be back.

a nice night was had, lovely meal, buffet breakfast(could have been warmer). lovely staff and a comfy bed. bottle of wine in room only allowed to be drunk in room, wasn’t an issue for me, but just so other travellers know.

Hotel is lovely, room was a bit dated and curtains ripped. Food was lovely but waitresses didn't know what tables, food was to go too so dinner took quite a while to reach us as tried to give it to other tables first. Would stay again though

Lovely hotel. The food/drinks were amazing. Bathrooms could do with a little update. Friendly staff. Due to this being a wedding venue it meant a lot of the guest were walking through the restaurant. I think wedding guests should be kept separate from the hotel restaurant so hotel guests can enjoy their time.

The staff at the Riverside Hotel are very helpful and go out their way to make your stay exceptional. The hotel is very relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My husband and I have been here on many occasions and have enjoyed our break every time we go.

Lovely hotel. Staff excellent. Food fantastic. Only problem is there are no lifts in this hotel also unlike as stated "that there is a walk in shower" there are none so this caused problem for me as found stepping into Bath very difficult and painful. Otherwise if no shower not a problem for you I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants excellent couple of nights away

This is the second time my wife and I have enjoyed a short break at the Riverside Lodge, and again, it was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Dinner was very tasty and well presented and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We had a lovely large comfortable room with a lovely outlook onto the garden to the rear of the hotel. We definitely intend to return to the hotel and have recommended it to our friends.

Our stay was fab x staff were lovely they never stopped x our food was amazing both husband and I had steak pie then I had trio of desserts and hubby had cheesecake x one of the best meals we have had for a while x only thing we could fault was room was dated could do with a wee refurbishment x drunks were a bit pricey

Our room wasn't ready on arrival but was soon actioned and they gave us another room instead. Hotel was great, staff very friendly and were very attentive, the food was really good, lovely room, comfortable bed had a fan in the room which was ideal as we were there on a warm day. Lovely to be able to sit outside on the decked area and enjoy a few drinks too. Already trying to get a date organised to go back.

We had a fab night at this hotel. When we arrived we all had been upgraded to bigger rooms with a view the rooms were big and a lovely outlook. The dinner and breakfast were good quality food and staff were lovely although we’d bit short staffed at breakfast. Would definitely be back at this hotel and would recommend to family and friends.

Hotel very comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. Large area for sitting and relaxing in the foyer. Dining room was large and airy. Bedroom was large and well equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Lodge Hotel. We have visited the hotel on a few occasions and have nothing but praise for the staff and the hotel itself. It must be the best value for money hotel that we have visited. Customer Service is not simply about meeting customers expectations it is exceeding them and the Riverside Lodge has done that on every visit. Our thanks to all the staff.
