Had a nice time. Room and food were great. Was disappointed with a member of staff serving at the bar. My hubby ordered a bottle of prosecco from the menu that was sitting on our table. The menu clearly showed the price of £24.95. When paying the member of staff asked for £34.95 which my hubby questioned, and he was told bluntly that was an old menu that was on the table that should not have been there, and he would need to pay the higher price. As there were other guests standing waiting to be served, he did not want to embarrass himself and say no. My hubby did not tell me until after dinner and we had finished the bottle, or I would have complained at the time. Put a damper on the night as £10 is a big price up on a bottle and would never have paid that amount for a bottle of Prosecco. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel well designed, staff very welcoming and helpful, food was fantastic, we had a few tails that were lovely but a bit pricey, room was clean and spacious, lots of mirrors and sockets in all the right places , would highly recommend x Only criticism the bathroom needs re grouting it was dirty.

We are regular visitors to your hotel as we find it very comfortable a high standard and very high quality meals . As regular visitors and we know there are many other regular visitor I would like to suggest that you may think of introducing a Royalty Card for regular visitors which may entitle them to extra benefits such as collecting points to entitle you to a free upgrade room , just a suggestion as I know other hotels have implemented a scheme like this .

Rooms was dirty and dated. Bed was also very uncomfortable, asked for a room change or to pay for an upgrade. Told hotel was full, even though it wasn't. Checked on booking sites and was able to book a room for the same day. Reception staff were poor. Would not stay again i rooms are of a similar standard. Food was great and bar/restaurant service was good.

This was our second time staying in the Riverside Lodge. Very friendly reception, bar and restaurant staff couldn't help enough. We stayed 2 nights had lunch and evening meal the food was excellent. Thank you Riverside Lodge for 2 excellent days.

We had a 2 night break with breakfast dinner first night + bottle wine in room. Hotel been refurbished and is lovely, food was great sraff very helpful, will be back.
