Had a lovely wee birthday treat overnight stay with the hubby. Staff were lovely, room was great, food was outstanding. Great value for the money and will 100% be back. Thank you for a chilled weekend.

Overnight stay DBB, Friday night very busy. Make sure you book your meal time well in advance, we booked ours a week before and could only get 8.30 Apart from that, no problem, enjoyed our stay.

Had a great break here. The room was very comfortable and the staff were excellent. They are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast choice is great and the inclusive dinner was exceptional. I would recommend to all, and will definitely be returning soon.

The lobby in the hotel is beautiful..our room was ready and was lovely with a bottle of rose wine in the room. Booked out dinner for 6.30pm and the food was delicious. Beds really comfy breakfast in the morning was also lovely everything you could think of..the only negative was I couldn't get the shower to work as it was very tight and I couldn't turn it as I have arthritis in my hands..but wouldn't stop me from coming back..Great deal..

This is the third time at the Riverside Lodge Hotel. It is really lovely and such good value. Food is superb and staff really friend. They have some dog friendly rooms too so we are able to take our two small dogs. Will return in the summer for an overnight again.

From the minute we arrived until we left this hotel surpassed all we wanted and more. Rooms lovely, food lovely and service from staff was excellent. We will defiantly go back to this hotel and recommend to family and friends.

Hotel entrance and bar good food was great.the Room was very tired lots of cobwebs dresstable all chipped round edges bath seal black mould . for the older people its like crossroads lol

Overall a nice hotel, unfortunately we had an issue at breakfast as my wife had a morning roll with blue mould, and when we notified a member of staff she wrinkled her nose said "ew" and walked away. I then had to go and find a manager, who removed the rest of the rolls and thanked us for pointing the problem out. At no point were we asked if my wife would like something else or was she ok after eating part of the bread roll. Not great customer service. Disappointing as we had enjoyed our stay up to that time.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff. This hotel is dog friendly and it was hard to believe there were a number of dogs there as they were very well behaved. This is the second time my wife and myself have been there and i'm sure we will be back again. We were supposed to go there on the 28th of February for 2 nights but had to cancel after becoming ill. We able to change our dates to 7thMarch for 2 nights thanks to the hotel being able to accommodate us. It is in a smashing location for heading up and down the coast only a short distance off the A78
