Very stylish decor and dog friendly which is lovely to see. Some staff lovely and attentive other younger members seem a bit dim. Rooms are lovely and spacious! Would visit again.

Main reception areas in a modern and clean condition - This however did not extend to the rooms ours had scruffy furniture and badly stained carpets - Biggest problem was that after 9am this hotel had no eggs left for breakfast - I don't think I have ever before stayed in a hotel that does not have enough eggs for cookery use after 9am..

Absolutely fantastic stay! We booked a table for 17 people which I understand is a pain in itself ?? but the staff took such good care of us and went over and above for my daughters birthday! Everyone loved their meal and rooms were lovely and clean, can’t ask for more

Great couple days away spent with my daughter. Hotel was excellent, upgraded our room at no extra cost. Service was amazing. Had breakfast & dinner in both days & again great service & a good selection.

room was beautiful and beds super comfy . We paid extra for a garden room as we had seen them on previous stays and thought it would be ideal for my disabled wife to walk straight out into the gardens and the benches but there was no step outside resulting in an over 12" drop so she could not get out the patio doors safely . was disappointed to find that even after telling the lovely receptionist we were still charged the extra £20 ?

The hotel was fully booked but the staff were amazing in getting us booked in and reserving a table for dinner, the break was a deal which included dinner. A lovely room, dinner and drinks out on the patio, lovely stay and would definitely go back

Lovely stay,staff very nice , everything very clean. Unfortunately just outside the smoking area at the middle corridors, was not so clean and tidy, it let the place down a little .

Second visit to Riverside Lodge and will certainly be back. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Rooms are lovely and have everything you would need. The staff work very hard and are very friendly and polite. The food is very good as is the portion size. A bit to long a wait between courses but would say due to not enough help in the kitchen. Michela was very good at looking after us. Only disappointment was they had no street map of Irvine, only one with the streets surrounding the hotel.

This deal was purchased for our daughter and her husband as an anniversary gift, they loved everything about the night. They said the staff were friendly and professional, their meal in the evening was well presented and very tasty and the room was comfortable and spotless. They thoroughly enjoyed breakfast which was unhurried and had all you would wish for as choice. Overall a great gift and great price.

Lovely hotel all staff very attentive,friendly and welcoming. We had the three course £20 menu which was very nice and had good choices. Feel the bathroom needed updated. Cleanliness was good. Think they are updating rooms a bit at a time. Would have no hesitation returning.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in this stunning hotel . Food and staff were amazing . Breakfast was a buffet type and had a lovely selection .Evening meal was absolutely fantastic. Bar prices very reasonable as was the service . We sat outside on the decking as weather was beautiful . Could not fault room or service in any way would definitely recommend. We will be back soon .

Hotel was lovely, good choice of food in the restaurant which was also lovely, staf very nice too, bar prices quite expensive almost £8.50 for a pint of carling and a soda water and lime.

Stayed here on a DBB break with wine, which was in the room on arrival. We decided to have the wine with our meal but were told in no uncertain terms by a very rude member of the waiting staff that we could not bring our bottle into the restaurant and we could only drink it in our room. This has never been a problem at other hotels we have stayed at and nowhere at the hotel or on the myhotelbreak.com website does it state that the wine must be consumed in the room. After this little episode we had to wait for 5 minutes before being seated in the restaurant after being ignored by several members of staff who walked past us. After our order had finally been taken by a bored looking waitress who obviously wished she was somewhere else we had a further 30 minute wait for our main courses, which were tasty but luke warm. The desserts arrived more quickly but were tasteless. Breakfast the next morning fared little better, with the buffet items being barely warm, with the notable exception of the haggis which was stone cold. On checking out, we mentioned the issues we had had to the receptionist who appeared totally disinterested and could only manage a half hearted apology when pressed. Appalling customer care. I must state that we have stayed at this particular hotel before without issues but this visit was well below expectations and we will not be returning.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. We found the bar prices very reasonable for a hotel bar, great selection too, bar staff amazing, dinner menu had a lot of choice apart from only one vegetarian option. The food itself was good and the staff amazing in the restaurant, reception and bar. Standard rooms comfortable could do with make over. The main parts of the hotel Beautiful.

Far far far bet my expectations, from the guy on reception as we arrived to the whole staff welcoming, clinically clean, spacious hotel/ rooms/ restaurant/bar. 12oclock check out!!!! Absolutely chilled ambiance, well done!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Riverside lodge. Only reason I didn't give 10/10 for room is pillows and bed was a little too hard for our liking and service a little slow when busy but understandable Hotel is gorgeous and very clean, staf very helpful polite and caring. Would definitely recommend it. Infant this hotel is on our top 3 shortlist for hosting our wedding.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Food lovely and really nice to sit and relax in the lounge area and enjoy a frw drinks. Room was clean although slightly dated in comparison to other parts of the hotel, was comfortable, fresh towels etc.

I had received a voucher for our wedding so decided to book The Riverside Lodge hotel. I had only heard nice reviews from friends and can say it did not disappoint. The room we stayed in was lovely and bed was comfy. The hotel was beautiful inside. The food was amazing too. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back.
