Hotel was spotless clean. The food was amazing, choice was fabulous and the unlimited breakfast was incredible! This is superb value for money and I struggle to see how the hotel can make money. Except off the drinks. Amazing! I been a few times and will go again! They even put vegan options on for us, first class value, only issue was single beds but likely my fault on booking.

Had a lovely stay at the Riverside. Public areas stunning. Rooms perfectly clean and adequate. Furnishings dated. For the deal we had absolutely no complaints, would definitely recommend and return.

Hotel was very nice reception area and bar area nice & roomy the restaurant and food was good bedroom was nice the only problem we had was we had our dog with us and I was on crutches our room was the furthest away down the corridor we asked to be closer to main entrance but was told they only have 6 dog friendly rooms surely you would think that they would have dog friendly rooms near entrance for letting them out

Had a wonderful time at this hotel, a wee hidden gem. Room was spacious and very comfortable, lots of , all was perfect, and food was very good, also very attentive and friendly staff, cannot wait to return. Thank to everyone at the Riverside for making it a wonderful overnight stay, wish it had been 2 nights.

This was my Husband and I's 5th time of staying at this Hotel. We absolutely love everything about this Hotel. From the minute you enter the Hotel the Reception staff are so Welcoming and helpful. Every part of the Hotel is so clean, nice clean comfortable Bedrooms. Food is so good and the Restaurant staff are all so nice. Can't wait to go back. Well done Riverside Lodge, you have got it spot on

Favourite hotel of ours. Have been on several breaks and it never disappoints, the deals offered are exceptional value. Hotel is well run, kept spotlessly clean and it’s location is within easy reach it town centre.

Had a great night stay at the Riverside for a phenomenal price. Included was a lovely bottle of wine and then 2 course dinner. Scott Morrison who was our waiter was just lovely and added a special touch to our meal. Breakfast was lovely (could be replenished a wee bit quicker) but overall great stay and definitely be back

We had ordered a bottle of prosseco as an extra as it was our anniversary. Bottle of prossecco was in our room upon arrival but no ice bucket to keep it cold, bottle of wine included in our deal was not in the room so we thought we would have it at dinner but told we could not have it in the restaurant but could have it afterwards in the bar. Wife went to reception to complain but never got the wine that was included in the deal, I now had an annoyed wife which just spoiled our Anniversary stay as I tried to calm her about the situation.

Hotel was lovely nice clean. food was lovely only complaint was waiting to get served at the bar only 1 person serving and another 4 waiting to be served other staff entered the bar but no one decided to help out

Good value for money. Meal and entertainment were very good. Would definitely book again Reception, Bar and Restaurant area are lovely Furniture in room could do with an upgrade

Lovely 2 night stay here, room was spotless, we had room no 131 view to back grass area, plenty room for your dog to be walked / exercised. Quiet at night, bed comfortable, shower was an old M over the bath but worked brilliantly and hot, bath mat supplied too. Complimentary shower / shampoo/ soap. Towels replaced daily & tea coffee tray replenished. 2 course Dinner on 1st night was fabulous steak & ale pie for me, fish & chips for hubby. Desert was Biscoff cheesecake which was a delight. Breakfast was great both mornings - plentiful - can't fault anything except maybe need a few more staff as they work so hard. Will be back on this deal of £74.50pp for 2 nights dinner & both breakfasts ??

Hotel interior lovely, although the room we had was dated and had really uncomfortable bed. The grounds of the hotel on first glance looked lovely but on closer inspection were below par - eg weeds, over flowing ash trays. Food in the evening was decidedly average - bland starters and main courses. Drink was eye watering expensive (this is where the hotel must make its money) however on a plus note staff were pleasant and friendly. Wouldn’t return as stay was nothing to right home about.

Had an overnight stay here with dinner and breakfast included. Room was very spacious and clean. I did find the toilets very dated, could do with an upgrade as it lets down an otherwise very modern setting. Food was lovely and well presented, good choice as well. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.
