2nd stay at the Hotel and couldn't fault it. Staff friendly at check in, rooms clean (ish) a few stains on carpets. Only the shower needs an upgrade but Still worked fine. Definitely stay again.

Another visit to this lovely hotel. Yes it's not close to any amenities but the staff and accommodation are 2nd to none. The food is above standard and plentiful. I'll be back as Arnie said lol

Love this hotel, been to this hotel a number of times and always enjoyed ourselves every time. Staff are first class and the food is excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel and would definitely return. Our only small complaint was having to wait an hour for our dinner on the first night of our stay. The staff did apologise but that didn’t help when we were starving.

Just returned from an overnight stay at this really good hotel. The food was great and plenty of choices for dinner and breakfast. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We got an upgraded room which was lovely. It was a great deal and would highly recommend.

My husband and I had a very relaxing time at The Riverside Lodge Hotel We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The meal at night was delicious and the choices were very good. Similarly, breakfast was also very good, although on a couple of occasions, the rolls and pastries were not replaced when the baskets were empty. A bottle of wine in the room was a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable and the soft furnishings were very attractive. Unfortunately the radiator made a strange loud noise several times and the general appearance of the room could be improved if the dressing table unit was replaced, as it certainly showed signs of age and use. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would certainly go back again

My stay at this hotel was not our first stay, the last visit the staff, the room, and the food was excellent, but this visit wasn’t as good, the staff and food was excellent again, but the distance the room we had from the restaurant was too much for my wife, she is not very good at stairs or walking, the other problem we had, we never got much sleep the first night because of a constant noise that sounded like an alarm going off, we reported it to the reception in the morning, and the problem was sorted out for our second night.

We had a brilliant time at the Hotel. On arrival we were greeted by lovely friendly staff who were very efficient booking us in. When we got to our upgraded room there which was very spacious and clean with 2 double beds and on the dresser was a complimentary bottle of wine. Dinner and breakfast were included, and I must say that both were fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel.

Public areas in hotel nice, rooms good size and good storage. Food lovely, service good overall. Had a great night, sadly breakfast was a bit chaotic. Appreciate hotel was full but it wasn't geared up to serve that number of people and for being so busy wasn't very warm and fresh tasting. Overall a great night and value for money.

The reception area and main dining area were fine but I would say the rest of the hotel feels dated I would also say the meal was average,my overall experience I would say was just average I would not stay again.

Really gorgeous establishment,clean and fresh looking inside and out,plenty of parking thats free.reception staff were lovely at checkin,room was huge,clean and plenty of towels,toilet roll etc.meal was absolutely delicious and fresh cooked,waiting staff were lovely and attentive Stephanie was our main server that night and was outstanding in her customer service.sleep was good bed was comfy.breakfast again was outstanding loads of choice and fresh and hot,good quality of products used.cheack out was pleasant.would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Arrived at the hotel a little early however the room was ready and we were allowed to check in. The reception area of the hotel is beautiful. Lots of quality seating and soft furnishings give a feel of luxury. There was even a piano player which added to the atmosphere. On getting to our room(201) it was clean and fresh with all the amenities you would need for a 1 night stay. The bathroom was a little dated but very clean and the shower was excellent. We had a couple of drinks in the bar prior to dinner. Plenty of choice and all of very good quality at a reasonable price for a 4 star hotel. Dinner itself was excellent. We had 2 courses each on the deal. Cannot complain about the quality or portions provided. Excellent ingredients very well cooked. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Excellent bedding which helped us have a great night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. Once again great products very well cooked. Large selection of hot and continental all buffet service. Only issue for me was the coffee wasn't the best but that's a very minor issue. We had a great time at this hotel and we will definitely be returning. Thank You
