Excellent overnight stay at the riverside lodge, Rooms were lovely and spacious. The food was excellent and a fantastic choice for breakfast. Highly recommend we have booked again for the end of December

Third time staying at this hotel this year & still giving same five stars. Received upgraded rooms on arrival, which was so good as there was no guarantee that this would be available. Beds were so comfortable and room nice and warm. Evening meals were excellent as well as breakfast. Presume same 5 star chef inc presentation. Staff in restaurant/bar were all so pleasant as well as reception staff. Facilities 100%. Elsewhere you would pay more than double the price for all we got. Fantastic stay and hope to return in the Spring 2024 and so forth through the year (haven’t sat out in the terrace as yet but hoping to do so in better weather). Lucy.

Took advantage of the Bluestar deal amazing value I've stayed here on several occasions and I'm never disappointed this hotel ticks all the box's the food is always delcious both dinner and breakfast every area is spotlessly clean and I love seeing the same bar/serving staff time after time says alot about a place next break booked is the 10th Dec can't wait to see the hotel all Chrismassy

Room wasn’t really 4 star quality, asked to be moved and the second room was just as depressing. We ended up leaving and going home as the bed was really uncomfortable. Food was ok. Cheap bottle of wine as part of the package. Tbh I wouldn’t bother. Pay extra and find a real 4 star hotel

This was our first visit to the hotel and we were delighted. Stunning hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfy plenty of space. The food was lovely .

Only stayed 1 night but wish it had been longer.Room was great comfy bed plenty of tea & coffee & the room & toilet were immaculate. Breakfast was self serve which was fab.Staff were very helpful & friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely stay with friends , hotel , room , staff and food were excellent , my only complaint was long wait for breakfast as food wasn’t getting topped up quick enough to comply with the amount of guests in hotel

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Huge spacious room. The only reason I give the room 9 instead of 10 is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable - very hard, could feel the springs and the squeak of the mattress when turning woke me a lot. And just one pillow?

We had another wonderful visit to this lovely hotel! The room was really nice and spacious, the food was great and plenty of it and the reception area very welcoming! As usual, the staff are always so nice, kind and very accommodating! We will return!

Excellent hotel, spotless clean in rooms and public areas, breakfast and evening meal was of a very high standard with great choice and generous portions at the evening meal and a comprehensive large selection at the buffet breakfast which was continually topped up and was always warm. Room was well equipped and very comfortable, as was the public areas. All staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend for an overnight stay

Fantastic relaxing break! Me, hubs and pup loved it!! Scored the room an 8 only because the bathroom/room was a little tired but this could be due to us being in a dog friendly room. Because the room was spacious and immaculate. No negative feedback and looking to book again.

Good hotel in a goog location,but very busy.rooms were nice and food and service 1st class.breakfast can be a bit of a lottery as everyone comes in about same time.

Had a lovely overnight. Hotel reception and lounge and dining area are lovely. Rooms are a bit older fashioned but clean. Staff very helpful. Drinks are a bit pricey but we would stay again.

Lovely hotel. We paid for DB&B. The 3 course dinner was delicious! Rooms are getting a little tired decor wise but bed was very comfortable. Room was spotless. Bar area was really nice with great seating areas to sit and relax. I would definitely stay here again.
