Another wonderful stay at this lovely hotel cannot fault it at all. All the staff are very friendly and polite and cannot do enough for you. The food is also very good we enjoyed every meal. We cannot wait to return again.

Great hotel. Nice big clean rooms and bathrooms. A bit basic but adequate. Food was a bit canteen like but was tastie. Tribute show was very good. Breakfast was good but no continental at all which I was surprised about. Staff lovely. Will go back.

A Valentine’s (48th) anniversary treat, this was our 3d visit to this pet-friendly hotel with our wee dog, with a warm welcome & comfortable clean spacious well equipped room, The food was above average, with buffet breakfast with good choices, while dinner was served by pleasant efficient staff with a smile, with daily menu changes of varied choices. I would highly recommend this hotel for its ambiance, location & it’s sheer amazing value for money, I’ll be back!

Superb value for money stay. Hotel is not luxurious but is just perfect for a walking holiday and everywhere was very clean. Had a great nights sleep both nights. Staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.Had a 3 course dinner each night with 4 or 5 choices for each course and portion size and quality of food was perfect for us. Have to book a time for dinner and breakfast so dining room is very covid safe. Drink prices are very reasonable.Breakfast is self service buffet but there was plenty of hand sanitizer and it was being used by everyone we saw. We will certainly return

We had a lovely few days at the Rob Roy hotel just after New Year. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of room for our dog's crate and great walks on the doorstep. We will definitely be returning in the future. M. Stevenson.

Please do not use the back room for guests at mealtimes, as it is dismal and desperately needs upgrading. We would have appreciated to be treated the same as your large group who enjoyed the benefit of the warm bright dining room. Staff were lovely.

Delightful stay as always. This is a REAL VALUE for money hotel where the bedrooms are of a very good standard and very clean. The food is AMAZING at the price point offered and there is an excellent choice from the Dinner Menu - presentation is very good. Although there are plenty of places to sit and relax and sit with friends, the hotel is a bit dated and lacks that cosy feeling. None-the-less, my wife and I have stayed here on short breaks perhaps four or five times now and have always had a lovely time. If you you wish an economical short break with good food and good sleeping facilities, then I recommend the ROB ROY HOTEL.

We had a very good value stay with a spacious, clean and comfortable room and good quality, filling food. There was an issue with the room (a leak from above) but this was quickly fixed and service was friendly and efficient. The room did suffer from some noise, possibly the distribution machinery and this could be a problem for some. WE would recommend The Rob Roy Hotel for value, location and friendliness.

Only thing that I found frustrating was that there was nowhere in the bedroom to hang a wet coat. Only the built-in cupboard that you have as a wardrobe.
