Yet another fantastic, relaxing break at the Rob Roy Hotel. This is our 4th visit and won’t be our last.

My Wife and I have been staying at the Rob Roy Hotel for over 35 years! Younger days was the Saturday dinner and dance nights, but now nearly 60, my wife and I like to just go and stay a few nights to chill and wind down these days! The dunners and Breakfasts have always been great and plentiful for what we pay! We are due back again on 5th March for a 5 nite stay again! Staff are amazing and always on hand for any enquiries, and rooms are clean and neat and tidy and comfy beds! See you soon! ??

Great base for exploring the beautiful countryside around the hotel. About a mile from town, nice walk on a sunny day. A few bars and shops in town. Staff were very attentive, a great place for a quiet stay

Hotel is nice and clean although could do with a bit of refurbishment. Car park is full of potholes. Food a bit canteen like and not cooked to order but ok. Breakfast is fab although no continental apart from tinned fruit and yoghurt. All that being said I would return as had a great time

Enjoyed Rob Roy Hotel very much. Very comfortable internally throughout with good temperatures for the time of year. The food was of a good standard & a varied menu. Pleasant staff.

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and again didn't disappoint we will return. My only concern would be why the lounge / bar does not play background music as this would create a more relaxed atmosphere for all before and after dinner, I would gamble the bar takings would go up too.

We’ve stayed at this pet friendly we’ll organised hotel many times before & re-visiting was like meeting an old friend, Accommodation is spotless & adequate facilities for a short stay, Food is above average, served by efficient staff with a smile, Ideally located for Callander & sightseeing the surrounding area, highly recommended.

We have been to this hotel quite a few times and the welcome is always the same, very friendly to everyone and also their four legged visitors, our room was lovely and clean and looked as though it had been decorated recently. We were given the choice to have our meals in the restaurant or bar, we chose to have ours in the bar along with our dog which is great as we don't like leaving him in the car, he is no bother and loves people watching, we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay here and the deal was very good. Rooms spacious but basic, everything very clean. We found the restaurant staff at night and at breakfast to be super helpful. On checking out however there was no communication from the woman, i paid the bar bill and that was it. She didn’t ask if we enjoyed our stay or anything which was disappointing. Good base to explore the area and you can walk into Aberfoyle easily on a nice quiet back route. Our dog enjoyed all the walks.

We had a brilliant holiday at the Rob Roy. The food was great, staff were friendly and rooms comfortable. We received incredible value for amount that we paid. The guests were older and enjoyed a bit of banter.

We stayed here for one night as we had a gift voucher and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is lovely, the staff were great. very polite and very helpful. The food was lovely and the buffet breakfast excellent. My husband and I will certainly be back for a longer stay in the near future.

Great stay at the Rob Roy Hotel. We arrived early and walked the mile into Aberfoyle for some lunch etc. When we got back to the hotel our room was ready (an hour early). Room was spotlessly clean. Dinner was very good. Breakfast was a buffet service which was a change from when we previously visited. One thing was there was no tea tray, kettle etc in our room. We only found out there should have been one on the day we were going home. Really missed my early morning coffee.

The hotel total exceeded all expectations. The room was lovely and clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was tasty, flavoursome and good. A lovely dog friendly hotel and would definitely book again.
