Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle

Just had 2 lovely days staying at this hotel. The 2 waitresses who served our meals at night were a credit to the hotel. One of the young waitresses was expecting ( sorry I didn't get her name ) and the other who was called Melissa. As Melissa was a local girl she was able to tell us a little of the history of the hotel and the surroundings, which was a joy to listen to. She should do small talks for the guests , I'm sure they would enjoy it. The meals were excellent with a different menu each night. A lovely hotel with great staff through out. A most enjoyable stay.

Great 2 night stay with my wife and two labs. Decor fresh, staff were friendly and helpful. Food portions were not the largest but more than adequate.

A very enjoyable stay, experiencing all four seasons in a very short time. Enjoyed the entertainment on Wednesday evening and the food was excellent.

Very pleasant stay in lovely warm surroundings, food was served professionally and of a very high standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful and really enjoyed the entertainment which was laid on both evenings. We will be back again soon.

We spent a very pleasant weekend at the Rob Roy,we were very well looked after by all staff .embers. The rooms were a good size with king size bed and large bathroom. The food was really nice and they looked after my partner who is Coeliac extremely well. We have already booked to return later this year.

Couldn't fault the hotel or staff food good and hotel and rooms very warm . Only thing floor was a bit creaky through out the hotel bed was very comfortable.

Perfectly adequate and great value on the 3 for 2 midweek offer. Only disappointment was that there is no daily room make up service from housekeeping. Is this an issue on a 2/3 night stay? Probably not for majority of guests but should be communicated at check in, as we understand this is available by request. Tea tray items were available at reception for collection. Extremely squeaky floor, must have woken next door neighbours! Would I return? Yes.

Been here many times with my husband. Decided to try going solo as he died two years ago. Couldn't ask for better, room was lovely, clean and warm. Meals were good and staff were excellent.

Had a great time at the rob Roy hotel our 2nd time there the staff were great and pleasant especially Melisa in the dining room very friendly and was nice to talk to nothing was a bother to her always smiling

We went with our wee dog murron for a two night stay.we had a lovely time in the Rob Roy hotel,it was very quiet as would be in the middle of January which suits us,we had a very nice welcome from the girl at reception,our room was very clean and warm, dinner was nice,the barman was fantastic, very pleasant and very helpful, breakfast was fantastic, good quality food,we will be back in the summer for a weekend, cheers Rob Roy

Enjoyed our stay at The Rob Roy Hotel, lovely walk from hotel into Aberfoyle along back of hotel. Staff very friendly, hotel and food good. Plenty of areas to sit within hotel and lovely and warm in hotel and rooms.

2 night break with DBB rom was clean and warm staff very attentive and polite. Food on first night was very good however on 2nd night we were disappointed. Breakfast was good with plenty choices would recommend hotel.
