Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle

Could not fault all the measures this hotel has in place to keep guests and staff safe. Food was really nice as were all staff we came into contact with. Compliments to the chef. Room was a bit tired looking but it was spacious and very comfortable, had great sleeps. We werent expecting anything fancy especially for what we paid, room was clean and had everything we required. Would have no hesitation in booking again and would recommend if anyone thinking of booking.

stayed 3 nights bed breakfast evening meal,rooms basic but clean and decent size food breakfast and evening meals were very good and served by lovely staff excellent value for money and hopefully return in the near future to this beautiful area.

Received a very warm welcome by receptionists, rooms good size, very clean, but not very soundproof, food delicious, staff very polite and helpful, great deal with myhotelbreak.com value for money, have not been there for a lot of years but will definitely go back

Love this hotel. Been here a few times, always good. What can I say, the staff are lovely and the food is excellent. My husband is disabled and the room is perfect, has everything we need.

Booked a short break in the October week. Booking in was simple, following all protocols for covid-19. Room was comfortable and clean. Meals were excellent. will certainly stay again, hopefully soon.

Had a lovely two nights at the Rob Roy Hotel. The staff work really hard to keep the hotel COVID safe constantly cleaning surfaces. Food was lovely and served very promptly. Excellent value for money.

Great stay at the Rob Roy. Spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. Covid restrictions in place and plenty of hand sanitizer etc throughout. Staff lovely and great choice of food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Pleased with what we got for what we paid, hotel in a lovely location for exploring area and for walks. Only let down was shower, it was very slow.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay, our room was clean and tidy and the breakfast and dinners at night were excellent. The staff at the Rob Roy were all friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Had a very happy stay at Rob Roy hotel.Plenty of COVID precautions in place and rooms sanitised and sealed after checkout.Meals were amazing and our compliments to the chef.Will stay the again soon

Staff were fantastic, food was excellent. We had a very relaxing break. The mattresses are quite hard however, this may not be a problem for some. It didn't spoil our break in the slightest. Will definitely return

This the 2nd time we have stayed here. There were 6 of us (2 households) . All appropriate covid regulations were in place. The hotel was well organised for meals , booking a time to alleviate the rush for food. The service was amazing particularly from Melissa in the dining room. The food was fantastic ¹, however the desserts were a bit hit and miss. The rooms are comfortable , warm and clean . This is a great venue to get you touring around the west highland way. Great value for money. Will be back next year when the tribute nights start up again

The rob roy hotel was a well run place. All members of the staff from reception to waiters and bar staff could not be nicer and always had a smile. My 2 night stay was very relaxing and refreshing thanks to all the staff would definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel was looking good, it had been a very long time since I'd been. Reception, Lounge and dining areas all lovely. Staff very nice and helpful. Felt very safe there, everything is spotless and clean smelling. Food was tasty and good portions. The rooms are basic but nothing to complain about at all. Def great value for the deal we got. 10 min walk into Aberfoyle along the river. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel well situated for walkers and close by for shopping in callender and stirling. The food and staff are first class well done all in these strange times
