As always our stay at new lanark mill hotel was fantastic. Speedy check in, beautiful clean rooms & staff were all cheery & polite as always. Nothing is ever to much. We used the pool which was a bit colder than normal but still ok. Food was outstanding as always, love this hotel.

Lovely overnight stay hotel room very nice, very clean . Delicious 3 course meal . Only really disappointing experience was breakfast next morning booked for 9.30am. My elderly mother hadn’t slept well & we arrived at restaurant 5 mins late to be told we couldn’t be served hot breakfast . Offered continental only . No hotel literature info in hotel room to advise of restaurant times. Restaurant staff unprofessional with loud swearing being heard from restaurant during 3 course meal .

Checked in. Had a great dinner. Two hours and 5 keycards later we could not gain entry to our room even with the desk managers help! Waited for the porter to come in. Free coffee on the bar during our wait. Gained access to the room to pack up and changed rooms. Gave us a bigger room but the hassle of changing and having to forfeit the evening was not the best!

We have stayed here many times and always upgrade to a suite however this time was not that great with the room light bulbs out no teaspoons a coffee machine with no cups that fit it no extra blankets or pillows in room and bathroom wasn’t very clean the whole room needed a good clean so I don’t think I’ll do any upgrades in future

Hotel was lovely, as was the room and food, service although friendly was quite poor, we had issues checking in and out seemed to be confusion at every turn, simple requests at dinner and the bemed to be met with resistance and the staff members were not as accommodating as I'd have expected.

Hotel is beautiful and staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout. The evening meal was absolutely delicious and a great variety. The ground to the hotel are just amazing to work off breakfast.

What an amazing hotel, with amazing views, and staff were fantastic from start to finish. Both me and my partner loved this hotel, check in was simple and made you feel relaxed, beautiful walk around the waterfalls. Just had everything dinner in restaurant was top notch and great service. Swimming pool was a great way to end the trip. Great offer from myhotelbreak, I will be looking out for the next one.

We celebrated a family birthday. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Food was excellent and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Covid arrangements were very well organised and we felt very safe. Only negative was that access to swimming pool was on a first come basis resulting on us missing out on our first night as it would be over 1 hour we would have to wait in a queue. Suggest think about a booking system for the pool. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay again. Love this Hotel. The location is perfect for a relaxing winters break. Staff work very hard & are very friendly. However, communication between staff in the Hotel & Spa, & also with customers could be better. We were told from one staff member that the shop & cafe would be open on both the Friday & Saturday but it was closed both days. We also had a note mentioning that the spa, pool & gym would be closed between 1 & 1.30pm for cleaning, but this was not the case. Customers also should have been notified of the pool closing at 4pm on the 31st of December. With the cafe next door being closed it would of been nice to have coffee offered in the Hotel but this was not available until 12 noon at the bar. There was no light lunches available like soup or sandwiches but we coukd order chips. A mention goes out to Caroline at the spa for a lovely salt scrub massage. Also thankyou to the staff in the restaurant & bar.

Had a nice night in the hotel. Dinner was superb. Unfortunately the breakfast and service at the breakfast was how can I put this. AWFUL. Dinner 10 out of 10. Breakfast 0 out of 10, on top of it serving out sour milk, waiting around 10 minutes for fresh milk

A good value, two night, winter break. We've been on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The restaurant, as always, impresses with a menu that's imaginative, creative and artistic as well as being delicious. All the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful.

Fabulous overnight DBB stay with use of great leisure facilities. Evening meal was delicious we upgraded to extra supplement for Fillet steak which was delicious. Breakfast was amazing too. Good selection. Will be back again in 2022!

The hotel was very nice, food was great, and the staff very attentive. Unfortunately, some aspects of the room let the whole experience down, especially in the current pandemic situation. 4 points; There were large cobwebs along the ceiling and walls. The wall lights beside the bed were covered in dust. When I arrived in the room, there were cake crumbs on one of the bedside tables. The bed sheet was too small for the mattress so I was actually lying on the mattress protector cover. I dealt with these points and it didn't spoil my enjoyment of my break. Others may not be so tolerant.

Had a great wee break. Lovely staff. Beautiful room and food was excellent. Great value for money. I would give the food more than 10/10 if I could.
