Overall a pretty good stay . Large room and a comfortable clean bed. Staff were nice . Plenty of choice for breakfast. One issue on our first morning the breakfast was very cold , but when we said to the waitress it was promptly changed and hot food offered.

Spotlessly clean hotel with beautiful gardens. Evening meals very tasty.now the negatives....drinks way too expensive and had a bad experience with a young female member of staff who banged on our bedroom door at 10.30pm demanding we settle a food and drink bill which we had settled a short time before. We took this up with the deputy manager in the morning. He apologized profusely but to us it still left a bad taste in our mouths,and as a result of which we wouldn't return.

Lovely hotel , great location , quiet but near to local attractions staff were lovely very friendly, gardens were beautiful and it was relaxing to sit out on patio for dinner or drinks.

Had a lovely weekend at Gretna chase hotel greeted by receptionist We had delux room on ground level just at reception Facilities were good Has evening meal which there was plenty to choose from Drinks were reasonably priced too just what you pay anyway else Lovely outside sitting area which was good are the weather was fantastic I would certainly recommend hotel and we will be back soon Good shopping facilities just 5 minutes to to retail park

great hotel, huge room, comfy bed, good pillows, food was cooked to order and not shy on portion size. staff were courteous and knowledgeable. great base to stay if touring around bria or Scotland, l'd recommend it to anyone and have passed the hotel on to all family and friends, also have passed on to get a great deal from the website

Staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The rooms are a little dated but were spotless and although they were too warm a fan was in the room. The hotel has beautiful gardens to sit and have a drink in too.

Everything about the hotel is first class……the service, the room and the food were excellent. We had a small issue with the toilet seat, but it was repaired immediately. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again.

My friend and I had a lovely time at this hotel. We used it as base camp whilst we visited a few areas just over the border in Scotland. Our room was spacious and had everything we required. It was clean and quiet with a nice outdoor area to sit in the sun and relax with a drink. The staff were polite and professional and the food was really enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again. It was really good value for money and I would recommend staying here.

Very friendly welcoming staff, bedroom very large, comfortable and very clean. Good to have a sitting area with sofa. Decor a little dated and dark.

Lovely hotel, immaculately clean inside and out. The gardeners were beautiful. The hotel staff were so helpful and pleasant. Although the menu was quite limited it was fabulously cooked and presented.

This was a very pleasant stay and good value for money. Hotel was clean and maintained to a high standard. Food was excellent although we did try another venue on the second but this was a big mistake, the food did not compare with the hotels. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Room was huge & very clean Food was good both nights & breakfast was buffet one morning & table service second morning staff were very efficient and food arrived hot and in timely fashion There was a wedding function first night but did not affect our dining service No complaints would definitely recommend this hotel (only a 10min walk to Gretna outlet)

Lovely hotel, where we had a spacious ground floor room. Enjoyed the choice of either bath or walk in shower within room. Greeted warmly on arrival, excellent breakfast and evening dining also good. Catering and Bar staf made our break most enjoyable.

Wow just wow. What a fabulous charming hotel, we had a great relaxing weekend. Rooms are lovely, great size and clean. All staff members were really pleasant, especially the young waitress at breakfast. Evening meal, what a great menu and the Curry was exceptional. I recently took my wife to Lumley Castle, she has said she would return here again before returning to Lumley Castle. Happy wife, happy life. Thank you we will see you again soon.
