Our 2 night stay at fishers hotel meet all of our expectations and more on our check we were made very welcome our room was large and very clean both nights our evening 3 course meal had plenty choices and was lovely tasty well presented food and the 2 mornings breakfast was very good with plenty choices and lovely breads served with breakfast and all the restaurant, bar and room staff were all very nice friendly people

A warm, cozy atmosphere in this refurbished hotel. Staff were friendly and the service was first class. food was wholesome and the menu varied with many Scottish favourites. The room was clean, well appointed with self-service tea/coffee tray and more than adequately heated. We especially enjoyed the scone and cream tea in the afternoon. Hotel situated in the main street, near the station and has good safe parking available.

Just returned from a lovely weekend break with a group of friends to the Fisher Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and excellent food all helped make the weekend go great. Great value for money, would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Fishers. Warm, friendly welcome, spacious, comfortable room, very good food at breakfast and lovely meal (with good choice) in the evening with friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Afternoon tea was a lovely and very welcome ideal, especially in the winter months.

We stayed at Fishers hotel on Friday 23rd Oct booking 4 rooms in order to visit The Enchanted Forest. The hotel was really busy but I have never experienced such a well managed hotel with helpful and efficient staff. Our rooms were all clean and comfortable with fresh decor and dinner and breakfast delicious. Well done Fishers and thank you Classic Britain for yet another great deal.

The bedroom radiator has no control valve so the room is boiling hot or cold,the fire doors in the corridor slammed shut(what seemed like all night) Had to ask for room to be made up, as room services must have forgotten. My wife sampled breakfast it was cold, she did not do breakfast next day I had some toast and jam.

I booked this Hotel for myself and my husbands anniversary. The Enchanted Forest was on and because of this we felt like we didn't really matter as the hotel seemed to concentrate on this. When we got to our room it looked quite basic. The bed wasn't very comfy and neither were the pillows! There was no soap in the bathroom either. I had booked a room upgrade but this didn't happen. The starter my husband got was a slice of Haggis with sauce poured over the top, not what he expected. My soup had uncooked veg in it and to top it off a bat decided to have a fly around the dining room. The breakfast in the morning was ok but the eggs were a bit under done for me. The dining room staff at breakfast didn't really seem to know what they were doing. We have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but i can honestly say this was not one of the best and won't be returning. Next time we will be going to St. Andrew's!!

Hotel was ok. A bit run down carpet and decor wise. Room was nice however the showers have the smallest doors I've ever seen. If your overweight you can forget the shower. Meals were nice but not warm enough. Service was slow too. Family beside us wIted over an hour for their meal. I've been to Scotland's hotel round the corner many times and to be honest I think I would go back there if given the choice. Don't get me wrong fishers hotel was nice but not in the same class as Scotland's hotel

General maintenance in room could be better. Shower head wobbly, tv not working, dusty skirting boards to name a few.
