Fantastic stay. Hotel is spotless, food was lovely. Barstaff were all very good with their mixoligy when tails were requested. Would stay here again.

Room was fine but bathroom not good Brown stains on bottom of bath and smell of mildew from shower curtain Male receptionist on checking in wasn’t very friendly however the staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely and were working really hard with 2 large coach groups

It was my wife’s birthday & our anniversary,we booked a DBB deal for one night. Room was spacious with the added bonus of a picnic table through our patio doors.There was a bottle of wine on arrival,our evening meal was lovely and there was a great choice at the buffet breakfast. Staff were great and overall we had a wonderful stay.

Used hotel several times previously. Dining experience not great. Given a 3 course menu (set menu meant to be a 2 course), main courses selection poor, mash potatoes with steak pie, chips instead. Waitress gave us different dessert menu (had to pay extra) so declined. Told us it was a 2 course with our booking. Yet only a few weeks earlier, different Waitress assured us it was 3 courses after we queried the menu. Staff are not on the ball with the menu. Manager showed us to our table and had to brush off food from the seat. Not a good thing to see. Building materials left next to bottom of stairs leading to first floor. Same materials were here on our previous stay at end of April. Not a good look for guests. Paperwork in room advises additional toiletries can be obtained from reception including a shaving kit. I had forgotten my razor so I asked for one at Reception but was told they don't do that. Who from the hotel is checking room paperwork info is up to date? Bedside table and lamp not in situ at left hand side of bed, only the right. Toilet/ bath/shower clean etc but dated and needs modernised. Room for improvement at this hotel, especially the set menu for 2 course meal. Paper menu provided food stained. Should be laminated and sanitised after being used by different guests.

We had a nice time staying at the Riverside Hotel. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was ok but wasn’t impressed with the shower or the fact that on my side of the bed there was no bedside cabinet.

There needed to be more attention to detail , as there was soap left in the shower from previous guests, and at breakfast some items were left under the heat lamp so long they were well over cooked and inedible. And also the butter had run out and had to ask to get some

Room was very dated and badly needing renovation. There was a plug socket off the wall with loose wiring. The shower was mouldy and had no pressure and also a bit of hairs in the bath. The hotel itself when you walk in is beautiful so the room was a big disappointment and not at all what was expected. The bar staff were fantastic and the breakfast was nice .

Great Boutique Hotel on the outskirts of Irvine town Center. Friendly efficient staff serving a wide selection of food. Nice rooms, bathroom with bath and shower, large double bed and tea and coffee facilities.

Regularly stay at this hotel, always a warm welcome, restaurant often busy but always enjoy the food. The room was clean and recently decorated. Thanks for a great stay.

Disappointing particularly in the restaurant. Food served at room temperature, not nearly hot enough. Service a bit slow. Staff seemed a bit young and untrained - we had to ask for a steak knife (should be offered as standard when ordering steak). Also, a bottle of wine was included with our booking but you can't have it at the table with dinner. Rooms were okay, but became unbearably hot and windows only opened a couple of inches, even though we were on the ground floor.

The room we were in was spacious with plenty of storage, the bed is comfortable & warm ( too warm possibly ), the bathroom had a bath aswell as everything else expected. I have no complaints about the food, we both enjoyed everything, breakfast is self service after your seated & was nice enough

arrived at 3.45pm checked in put our bags in the room went to the bar for a drink and went to sit on the sun terrace as it was a beautiful day to be told the terrace was closed due to a wedding taking place. Although they were advising on social media that the the terrace was open. Was not pleased about this. The terrace did open back up later but by that time we where having our dinner

Definitely 4 star down in the entrance/lounge area ,, however the rooms require a refurbishment especially bathroom to bring the room standard up . I've stayed in better 3 star rooms .

2nd time at this hotel. Room was huge and clean. Beds were comfortable. Dinner was plentiful and delicious. Breakfast had fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and a hot buffet. Food was fresh and aga8n, plentiful. Decor stylish in lounge/foyer area and exceptionally clean. Staff attentive and very pleasant .
