Things to see & do in Bo'ness
It is believed that in Bo'ness a settlement here can be traced back to Roman times which formed the eastern end of the Antonine Wall which was the northernmost border of the Roman Empire.
The town was established in the 18th century as one of Scotland's major industrial towns and port. The industrial past can be seen in the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway whose steam trains run from Bo'ness to Birkhill Clay Mine where visitors are taken on guided tours of the underground workings.
An impressive coastline can be seen to the west of the town.
